The manager was horrible, and the management overall was terrible. It felt like South Africa in the 1970s. No one was at the property when we arrived. There was no cell phone service, and after driving one kilometer inside the reserve, they still refused to give us the Wi-Fi password. The employees seemed afraid to call the manager, and when she finally arrived, she still did not provide the Wi-Fi access. After telling us she was going to get it from her office, she disappeared for three hours. At that point, we decided it was time to end the nightmare. Waking with the lion we cancelled that activity If you are Black, this is not the place to stay: Fathala Wildlife Reserve. After a 10-hour drive, this was a major disappointment. Visit the wildlife reserve only. The staff are excellent, and the guides are professional and highly proficient in their work. You can find better hotels near the reserve for your stay. Most guests seem to have a good experience with the safari itself.

Il n’y a pas eu de séjour. La chambre qu’on n’avez réservé a eu un problème la responsable du site nous dit qu’elle ne peut rien faire nous avons quitté l’établissement le même jour pas de séjour une expérience horrible elle a été très désagréable arrogante et irrespectueux elle n’a même pas tenue compte de la distance parcourue. On a beaucoup souffert

I actually loved my outdoor shower. The room was great. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful

The Room was amazing, the outdoor shower and the monkeys watching and playing above was just amazing. The lion walk was a once in a lifetime experience. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Maria on the safari ride and the driver was the best !!

The place is nice whoever, we encountered over 4 different wall geckos in the room in the early morning.

Sehr freundlicher Service, Frühstück ok, Abendessen gute Qualität. Spektakuläre Tierbegegnungen. Lodge bietet Transfer z.B. zur senegalesisch-gambischen Grenze oder zur Fähre. Nachteilig: Schwimmbadein-und Ausstieg für Menschen mit Knieproblemen mangels Leiter schwierig.

Freundliches Personal , sehr sauber. Aber Pool für Menschen mit Knieproblemen kaum benutzbar, weil keine normale Leiter und nur sehr hohe Stufen ohne Geländer. Frühstück à la carte war nicht möglich, man musste Bufett nehmen oder nichts. Preis 18€ viel zu teuer für die gebotene Auswahl.

De l’arrivée au départ tout étais parfait. Le site, les tentes complètement WoW!!! Le restaurant et les repas, le rhinocéros qui est venu nous voir au souper tout prêt de la piscine, la marche au lion, une expérience incroyable et le safari petit mais intéressant.

It was just lovely having comfort and nice accommodations but still feeling like you were out in the wilderness. The monkeys in the tree right outside our door were such a sweet added bonus

The setting was spectacular, the food was on point and the guest help was amicable.

We had issues during our check in that took too long to resolve. After a 3 hour drive we had to wait more than 1 hour because they could not see our payment made online. Despite us showing all the proof we had (receipts and transactions) and asking to see the manager to resolve it, we were held at the reception and asked to pay there multiple times. However the staff more than made up for it during our stay. They were very helpful and cooperative. The activities were interesting as well, especially the safari (we got lucky and spotted all the species present in the reserve). The place is quiet and peaceful as you would expect in a natural reserve.

Exceptional customer service, great to hang out by the water hole during the day. We enjoyed the safari, the lion walk, spent time with the baby lions, did a boat excursion on the mangrove and a visit if the village. The staff was really helpful with everything and smiling. We loved our stay there!

Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt. Fenster haben nur mosquitonetze und die aircondition geht ins nichts. Oder fenster Verdunklung den ganzen tag im zelt. Frühstück magere auswahl. Busher schlechtestes. Im Restaurant auch nicht starke ventilatoren kritik nicht angenommen. Uns nur vor die türgesetzt. Aberden transfer nicht zahlen lassen. Personal aüsserst nett wenn man nicht das komplette menu essen will somdern nur einen salat muss man trotzdem 25€ p. P. Zahlen. Selbst wifi ist nur mit extrabox möglich und zusätzlich zu zahlen. Personal sehr hilfsbereit.
