Thank you Miriam for your help with this booking. The room was great, with beautiful city view as requested. The lobby is a bit small and too busy, does not give relaxing vibes after a long day. Breakfast restaurant is wonderful, with nice views and breeze in the afternoon. The food was great too. All staff we met were warm and welcoming. FO, HK and Service. The male receptionist on Sunday morning shift when we checked out was very kind to us. Overall great stay, my only issue is space. Consider decluttering the public areas for great relaxation when one enters the hotel lobby from a long day.

The positioning of the property was excellent for us as it was in the area we preferred. All the staff from the driver who picked us up from the airport to the one who returned us there were polite, friendly,caring and very helpful. I would happily return there.

The new towel was kinda dirty

I had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise — the food was delicious and the service excellent. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very good hotel, liked the only thing I was filling uncomfortable at the end when I was doing the check out, the have a list saying that I had consumed lot off things from minibar and snack, when I haven’t touch anything. I had arrived at 2 am literally and left around 8 am the hotel…. To explore Dar Es Salam them I had a flight around 1:30 pm. So the little time I had spend I haven’t touch even the free water. And they was trying to collect money that I haven’t use. But a the end they understood.

Everyone was exceptional to me during my stay at the Golden Tulip. I was attending a conference and unfortunately came down with a bad case of food poisoning from a restaurant near the conference. The Manager and specifially Damien took very good care of me ensuring I had green tea, toast, and soup to help me in my recovery. They even helped me get some medication from a local pharmacy!!

Terrific staff, friendly service. Room was clean, provided everything I needed for overnight stay. Downtown is under so much construction (not the hotel’s fault); the area is congested and dirty. The restaurant FIRE on the 20th floor was pleasant, with good food at a reasonable price and a great view!

The service was excellent and the hotel is well situated but the building is very tired and room was in need of refurbishment. The fact the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol should be clearly indicated before booking.

Amazing check in experience! Staff was very responsive. Clean hotel, very spacious. My only issue was that I wasn’t a fan of the hard mattress. Also, there wasn’t any hot water per se. Other than that it’s locate close to the port and walkable area. The restaurant was great also.

The hotel had a lovely restaurant on the 21st floor and all staff were wonderful. Also walking distance to the National Museum.

Amazing

Relatively easy to find hotel. Centrally located. Elegant room, extremely clean and environment top notch, exquisite furniture and decorations. Air con and wifi worked very well. Super delightful and pleasant staff, engaging and gave tips on areas to visit. Delicious breakfast and dinner great choice. Will definitely visit again.

Needs upgrade

Great location, can walk anywhere and super close to the ferry terminal. They picked us up from the bus station which I really appreciated. They even walked us down to the ferry to get our tickets. All the staff were kind. The room was spacious and very clean thanks to Martha! The bed was comfy. Very fast wifi. The only minor issue is my spouse is 195cm and couldn’t fit on the treadmill as the gym roof was too low but he could use the spin bike. Lots of equipment in the gym! Highly recommend booking this place.
