Shops were nearby

The room was very clean, and the staff were amazing, starting with the security officer outside. He greeted us on arrival and offered to take our suitcases inside. Three areas of improvement include a larger lobby, adding a bar for those who wish to relax with a drink, and providing parking for the guests.

I loved staying at the hotel. The staff were very helpful with information and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

I had to beg for a teabag and sugar in the evening. I was told to go and buy at the supermarket across the hotel. Really???

The rooms, meticulously maintained by the housekeeping team, are both clean and well-appointed, making them perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the soundproof windows provide a serene environment, even for rooms facing the bustling Oginga Odinga Street. I highly recommend this venue to both returning and first-time guests visiting the lakeside city of Kisumu.

Good hotel

Everything about my stay at the Imperial Hotel Express was wonderful. Nestled in the middle of everything, this property is extremely convenient to anyone visiting Kisumu. Everything I needed to take care of was within 3 blocks. Staff are always available to answer questions and provide assistance. Security is ever present at the front door. Breakfast is good. Room TV wasn't great (only 8 stations!) and I was told there were no other stations available although the menu lists about 300 satellite stations. No biggie, because the nightclub around the corner was hopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value for your buck

I loved everything about this hotel. It was conveniently located. I felt safe walking around the city. The hotel was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. Breakfast was more than adequate. The bed was very comfortable. I will stay there again and highly recommend it to others.
