Quite place!

Excellent resort! We loved our time there!

We stayed in Bougainvillea in our recent vacation to Barbados. Our stay was great. The hotel is at the beach, with the pool, a bar and a couple of restaurants on premises. It’s clean, spacious, and all the staff were very accommodating, friendly and amazing. We also liked that the hotel is not on the main road as it does get busy at times. We also didn’t have any issues walking back at night.

We absolutely loved staying here. The entire staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. They helped us with any questions about where to visit and food options. We specifically wanted to shout a thank you to the bartenders Jose, Vivian and Joshua for their wonderful hospitality. This was a trip to remember and we will definitely be visiting again!

Staff was lovely and the pool area was gorgeous. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, well kept property. No complaints

My family if 4 loved it - our kids 2 and 4 enjoyed the beach and pool, very family friendly. The food is great too. Would absolutely come back!

The grounds are beautiful, but the service is lacking. They are very understaffed. While, the staff was typically professional. I would not describe them as engaging. Calabash is average food at best, and the staff gets overwhelmed very easy. The food takes forever. We did have a wonderful time in Barbados in general and did not spend much time at the resort. The beach was almost always too rough at the resort, but the morning that we left, it was beautiful and flat. It is a smaller resort and not so crowded which is nice. Room cleaning service was great and always done.

Generally the stay was good. Beach was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Will consider a return trip.

Very clean and quiet boutique resort with good amenities; house keeping was fantastic and very diligent and kind. Front desk service was mixed, some great and one or two staff seemed were poor -attitude, didn’t ask how our stay was when checking out, and there was an issue with arranging a taxi after confirming with them several times the need and time. Acted surprised when I asked and indicated it was late and we had to get to the airport after many other had been picked up already. Also, similar experience at the restaurant which was also periodically very slow - waited 2 hrs for our meal one night. My wife has celiac/ gluten allergy and was given food with gluten the first 2 days (glutinous bread under eggs) which she didn’t realize until getting quite sick... Suggest better training as some of the staff didn’t seem familiar even though the menus have gluten indicators listed and we stressed the need for it to be gluten free and to avoid contamination … overall a great resort but these are important aspects and should be addressed by management.

The onsite restaurant is actually really terrific. The staff - all of them - are wonderful, friendly. The location is perfect - beautiful, restful. The spa has very reasonable prices and the staff their are fantastic. All around a wonderful vacation.

Overall it was pleasant. The reception area is tired looking. The rooms were well cared for, clean and quiet. Would have liked more bath towels and beach/pool towels in the room.

Very friendly front desk reception and bellmen. We so appreciated the visitor lounge to change to go to beach prior to room being ready. Equally convenient after check out , we used the showers before leaving to airport. A wonderful plus! We fully enjoyed the restaurants on site. Great value and delicious!

Location was within walking to convenient store and great restaurants.

Pretty place

Wonderful hotel in a great location on the south coast of Barbados. Calabash restaurant has great food, and the hotel has two lovely pools (one adults only, complete with in-pool bar seats for the pool bar).

The room we were assigned was not cleaned from the previous guest. They did provide us with another room, but we did not receive the king bed with an ocean view, we got two double beds with a pool view. The alternative room was cleaned. Both rooms plus our friend’s room were dated. The rooms need a refresh. I would give this a two star rating for a five star price. The grounds and the beach are nice.

Smaller hotel. Beautiful landscaping and pools. Nice beach Good food, very pleasant staff. Off the primary road.

This was a great place to stay

Staff are very friendly. If you need a washing machine they have one on site free to use just need your own soap. To dry clothes they charge 10.50BBD. Close to a lot of things masseys grocery 10min drive. This side of the island can have a lot of waves and we were only able to go in ocean 2 times. You can always take a cab to west coast and swim Carlyle Bay which is popular but may need to sit on beach. The pool area made up for lack of swimming in ocean is nice. Always had entertainment each night which was a huge plus didn’t feel you needed to go anywhere. Calabash bistro is nice food. It’s quiet on Fridays as everyone attends the fish fry which is just down beach. Only 15 min to airport
