This resort was a wonderful stay and well worth the price, unfortunately we visited during a time of remodel so our room wasn't exactly up to a high quality standard however the facilities were still some of the nicest and I've been in. The icing on the cake was staff, I've never felt so more at home and welcomed and taking care of at any resort like I've been to in comparison. If anyone is visiting the pool bar make sure to say hello to chickpea.

I’ll start by saying Chantae was amazing and incredibly helpful before our stay at the Hideaway. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill quickly after check-in. We booked a Diamond Club Penthouse One Bedroom Suite expecting a premium experience, but it was far from it. The jacuzzi didn’t work when we arrived and had to be fixed. There was visible mold on the couch and in parts of the room, the toilet leaked even after being “repaired,” and the AC stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us sweating in an unbearably hot room. These are basic maintenance issues that should never happen in a high-end resort. To make things worse, there were constant towel shortages by the pool and adults-only beach. We were told to contact our butler for towels, a small but frustrating issue that added to the overall lack of service. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and mini honeymoon, and what was supposed to be a special, relaxing trip ended up being filled with disappointment. Some of the best moments of our vacation happened off the property, which says a lot. We really wanted to love this place, but it simply didn’t live up to the expectations or the price. A resort like this should offer a seamless, stress-free experience, sadly, that was not the case.

Ruth was the most amazing employee Royalton has.had experience a few challenges at the beginning of my stay, Ruth went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was flawless after I express what I was experiencing. Also shout out Carline in Guest service and Andrae in the dining hall very welcoming and caring.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was unfortunately very disappointed, especially considering the high cost (over $500 for one night). While the property itself looked promising, several issues made for a very uncomfortable and frustrating experience. First, the fire alarm in our room went off twice during the night — once at 2 AM and again at 3 AM — with no way to silence or reset it. It severely disrupted our sleep, and despite calling the front desk and speaking with staff the next morning, the situation was not resolved during our stay. Second, around 1 AM, a group of loud guests gathered near the swim-up pool by our room. They were yelling, causing a lot of noise, and even took chairs from our private balcony and threw them into the pool. It felt chaotic and completely ruined the sense of peace we were hoping for. On top of that, there was no hand soap at the sink in our room — a basic necessity in any hotel, let alone one at this price point. I reached out to the hotel directly after our stay in hopes of resolving this privately, but unfortunately, I’ve yet to receive a meaningful response or compensation. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations, and I would not return based on this experience.

The Royalton Hideaway Negril Diamond experience was wonderful. We had great butler service from Okeen and Dwight. Tameka was our favorite bar tender. The grounds are beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. The beach areas were tranquil. Plenty of food options and people to assist you in booking excursions. We had a swim up pool and that was fantastic! Great for watching the sunrise and sunset. There is definitely plenty to do. The entertainment and daily activities made the stay fun. The DJ’s and dancers kept our nights filled with music and dancing. Much needed after eating so much food! I was also happy that there was daily water exercises. The staff conducting those classes really pushed us. It was great. While we enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway, it is evident that the buildings need repairs and updates. Also, not all staff were friendly. Unfortunately there were a few who were rude. Overall Royalton Hideaway was a great experience. The good outshines the areas for improvement.

The size and cleanliness, aesthetically beautiful

1. We had to change rooms because smoke alarm kept going off at random moments (no smoke around us). 2. Food was hit or miss. Reminds you of Carnival cruise. 3. Room service was 1.5 hr late every day. They have an app but they dont bring at the time u requested. No show 2x 4. App doesn't always work when making reservations. There is a receptionist set up outside giftshop that can help you. She made us a reserv. but when we went to check in, the hostesses said she did see us on the list. (they print the list exactly at 5p) I inform her reservation was just made 15 mins ago. She said "she should have known better & then they proceed to talk badly about the girl at the giftshop for making the reservation. Finally a gentlemen comes over & tells them to seat us. FYI: there were only 2 other couples seated inside and it is now 6:10p 5. The excursion compay onsite does airport shuttle. They scheduled us for a 3:45AM departure. The lobby was pitch black w Zen music on the loud speaker. The attendees were all sleep. We say in dark w no way to ck out. they turn on lights once shuttle reach front gate. The lady told us we need to ck out, we told here there was not one at front desk. we waited again but no showed so we got in van but they would not allow us to leave out gate. We go back, he scribbles our name/room# on note.no receipt. HORRIBLE PROCESS!!!

The butlers was terrible. We had to ask for stuff multiple times like juice and liquor. We never got our mini fridge restocked. We had take our luggage to front no one was available to help with luggage. Desserts was hard. We ask for our room to be decorated all we got was sign on our door. No welcome drink.

We had an amazing few days at this property. Once the trip was booked, a rep named Chantae reached out to see if she can be of service. We chose the birthday decoration package and we were exceptionally pleased with the outcome once it was completed! Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted and checked in quickly. We had access to the resort immediately and met up with our friends that were already there. The rain didn’t dampen our spirits. The Vibe team was amazing keeping us entertained, the bar was always packed and busy as the drinks were always flowing and the bartenders kept everyone happy. There was a good selection of restaurants, especially the Jerk Hut. There’s always something to do and never a dull moment! We will be back!
