Beautiful property with an amazing staff! Everyone was so helpful and just pleasant to deal with. Water and beach are gorgeous and very feels very secluded. Would definitely go back!

Las instalaciones son muy buenas pero no estaba todo en las mejores condiciones. Éramos prácticamente los únicos huéspedes del hotel y teníamos que comer en nuestra casa, aunque parece tentador, porque no estaba habilitado el comedor. Comíamos todo frío y mal presentado, ya que traen entrada, plato principal y postre todo junto tapado con un film. La comida muy buena pero muy lenta! Esperamos 1:40 para almorzar. La isla es muy bonita pero no hay mucho para hacer en el hotel. Hay que contratar excursiones con precios exorbitantes. Nos dieron un upgrade pero lo rechazamos ya que las casitas sobre la playa son mucho más lindas que las casas de dos habitaciones que quedan arriba, muy alejadas de la vida de playa. La gente súper amable. Un hotel que no tiene la categoría por la que pagamos. Otro dato: Las mareas son muy extremas y cuando está baja, el agua te llega a las rodillas con un lecho arena/barro. Nos encantó conocer Bazaruto

Anatara har ett exklusivt läge så därför tycker jag som helhet att boendet trots sitt höga pris är prisvärt. Allt på anatara Bazaruto har absolut toppklass. Alla som arbetar där har en mycket hög service nivå. Enligt vad vi kunde se tar resorten ansvar för en hållbar utveckling av det fantastiska plats mitt i indiska oceanen

What an amazing experience we had at the Anantara! We weren't sure what to expect, as this was our first time to Mozambique, and we had initially planned to visit the Quirimbas rather than Bazaruto (we ended up deciding to save the north for our next visit and focus on Vilankulos/Bazaruto, Inhambane/Tofo, and Maputo during this trip). The Anantara was better than expected. Everything was well arranged--before our trip, they were in touch with us and arranged the (free) shuttle/boat transportation from the airport in Vilankulos to the island. When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by a troupe of (very touristy, but nonetheless appreciated) local dancers along with the GM. We were then taken to our rooms in little golf carts, where we had a chance to relax and enjoy our beautiful room deck with pool and sunbathing area. There were three separate restaurants at the resort, with different meals available at each one--we loved the different food themed nights and found the food to be excellent (and on a side note, per discussion with the head chef, all the non-pork meat items were verified halal). We did two amazing tours, the sand dune surfing (led by Claudio, who was phenomenal) and snorkeling (by Ernesto and ?Fernando, who were also wonderful) where we got to visit Pansy Island and had a dugong swim right up to our boat. Overall, a life changing trip and I can't recommend the Anantara highly enough! Thanks!

We had an excellent time at the Anantara Bazaruto. Everything was well arranged and the property itself was excellent. The rooms were huge--more like a condo with your own kitchen, pool, deck, and living room--and very clean, safe, and well maintained. The staff were great and then amenities (pools, restaurants, spa, etc) were wonderful. The only fault we found was that the nighttime activities were somewhat lacking--there wasn't much to do after sunset, and it would have been nice if they had movie screenings or other activities to keep us busy. Overall though, a great experience and we were sad to leave!
