We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Basilica in Palma. The hotel is slick, full of character, and beautifully designed, with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.
The rooms are well-appointed, featuring functional showers with Molton Brown toiletries, a comfortable, good-sized bed, and excellent sound insulation for a peaceful night’s sleep. The free minibar was a lovely touch.
The rooftop terrace is a highlight — a small plunge pool with a charming view of the cathedral and nearby basilicas, perfect for a quiet break in the city.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, offering great restaurant recommendations and even going out of their way to bring a bottle of Freixenet Brut when they learned it was my husband’s birthday — a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.
The location is ideal, just a 6-minute walk from the cathedral, close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel calm and private.
Overall, an elegant and welcoming boutique hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return on our next visit to Palma
