No central air in common areas. I was hot. Our bathroom had no hair conditioner or glasses or place to put a toiletry bag.

This hotel was unable to work with my schedule adjustments, to be fair I had 2 of them, and they helped me with one. It was difficult for them Im sure, but because of that, I cancelled the entire trip. I did not stay with them, but I sure paid like I did.

The property was undergoing some re-construction in rooms near to mine. This is the only reason that I've ranked the hotel 4-star.

This hotel was wonderful to experience after 20 hours of flying, The pool area situated on the shores of Lake Victoria was beautiful. The food and beverage service outside was prompt and amazingly delicious. The breakfast buffet was over the top amazing. Fresh and so many choices. I always enjoy my Marriott stays but this hotel went over and above to provide personal happy service.

The view from my room was beautiful - overlooking Lake Victoria. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and responsive. I highly recommend staying at Protea.

Proximity to the airport

Very good location near Entebbe airport. Rooms were ok, shower was very nice. Bugs/flies got into the room at night and made it very hard to sleep.

We had a very nice stay. The room and everywhere we went in the hotel was very clean. The staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. The outdoor dining was so relaxing, and the view of Lake Victoria was just amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely time all the staff were sooo friendly and helpful loved my time here!! Special shout-out to the breakfast crew!! Y’all are all awesome .. and I temper your guests name and preferences are priceless..also another huge shoutout to the bar crew!! David, John, Fred and Simon are theee best!!

Our flight to Entebbe were canceled by the airline so never got to the hotel. We have tried to get a refund of our prepaid reservation but we have received no feedback so far on our request. We will continue to rate this property negatively until we get a response. Please contact me immediately.

This hotel is on the shore of Lake Victoria and the views are spectacular! Staff are amazing - really enjoyed my stay over
