Rating & Review Keseluruhan SeaGarden Beach Resort - All Inclusive

The resort was nice, I loved all the food and the beautiful beach! The staff was amazing and very friendly. The only issue we had were getting clean towels and washcloths, it took them hours to bring fresh towels and washcloths to our room. The room had ants everywhere even in the tube! The worst thing was checking in, our room was supposed to be ready by 3pm, our room wasn’t ready until almost 5pm, I was so angry and it was as if customer service didn’t care! We had been at the resort since 7am, was told we could possibly check in early, but didn’t get into our room until 2 hours later! I’m not sure if I’ll stay there again.

Beautiful property.

The staff was very friendly and made my stay pleasant. The guys over in the water sport area were exceptional with teaching us how to paddleboard for the first time. We will be back for sure. The things I didn't like was the bar tender and the cook lady over by the beach. She was not pleasant and friendly.

We were a little hesitant about booking due to mixed reviews but we went ahead and took a leap of faith and so glad we did! It was everything we needed for our first family vacation of 4. We had our toddler and infant with us and they loved the pool and beach. Food was pretty good. Wish they had all the options at the deli and beach bar though. My first day they didn’t have beef patties and the beach bar didn’t have festival. Other than that it was great. Also our door’s lock didn’t work but felt safe overall. We would come back again!

The staff awesome! No beach towels. The food was the same pretty much every day. The pizza from the deli was not good at all.

Very friendly staff. it was safe and quiet. I had a very nice experience. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable, they made us feel like we belonged. we stayed 6 days and had an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff at the Seaharden.

Great overall

Wish they had more authentic Jamaican food like everyday not on specific days! Overall loved the staff very nice, polite, and they really know how to own a moment. They all were jovial and respectful.

Ideal for a quick vacation, great location

The room that was advertised in the picture had a balcony when we got to the room there was no balcony. We complained and showed the staff the picture and they said they were fully booked not only was there no balcony but the garden/pool view was of the street and parking lot so we couldn’t even open the curtains. The bathroom was dirty the handles were falling off in the shower. We asked for extra towels they didn’t bring them till the next day. We asked for new sheets as water had spilled on the bed they did not bring them I had to use a blow dryer to dry the sheets at 10 at night. The liquor on the property was terrible I did not recognize the names on the bottles and all the alcohol had a overbearing taste. The pool was dirty I personally removed at least 4 empty cups from the pool everytime I went in. There was no elevator to the room. The door man watched us struggle with our suitcases to get inside. The only restaurant open was a buffet and a chicken and burger place by the beach. The food was okay but I prefer not to eat at a buffet every night. What I liked about the hotel the beach was smaller but it was set up like a little cove with shallow calm warm water and it was very clean. The room was large and it was a laid back atmosphere plus a close walk to restaurants/bars ect. I would not recommend this hotel.

I didn’t like that the WiFi did not work AT ALL! I missed all my excursions due to the fact that I was Unreachable (because of the WiFi) when I ask for help the RUDE woman at the excursion counter rolled her eyes and was Very Rude! There was a huge roach in the hotel room ! Every time u leave the resort people are trying to put weed in ur hands and then telling u OUTRAGEOUS prices for absolute GARBAGE marijuana. The cab drivers STALK U !!!! There was so much more but honestly I am so glad to be home and too exhausted to talk about it again! All I can say is DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT OR FOR THAT MATTER DO NOT STAY IN MONTEGO BAY!!!! WE WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! THAT WAS NOT A VACATION!

I love the hospitality I would give it a 10/10. However the room wasn’t our favorite. We started off getting upgraded from a standard to a garden view room. Would have preferred to stay in the standard but we decided to give the upgrade a try. Our room was nice, nothing very fancy, there was an AC, a good size closet and a good size bathroom. Ceilings are very high which was something new to me, otherwise simple room. The worst issue we had was the mosquitos which were quite annoying and aggressive, we literally had 7 in the room at once at once point as we killed some more came in, they bit us all night long which was annoying so definitely would recommend bug spray or just don’t stay on the first floor.

Being 6"9" I asked for a King bed as advertised, this was asked for TWICE before I arrived, to get no response. I eventually called and got a response but when I arrive I ask for a King room to be told they dont exist!!! We try and book a trip to Appleton Farm Estate through the desk at the hotel to be taken to Good Hope Estate. The gentlemen who sold us what we thought was a trip to Appleton farms spent most of his time complaining that we had looked things up on line. The hotel is somewhat run down and there seems to be little investement in keeping the standards up. We tried complaining to the customer services manager who whilst she gave platitudes dis nothing!! And never followed up with us. Everyone who sat at a desk was truly useless. Everyone who provided a real service (bar, lifegaurds, waiters...) tried their best. Also if you do ignore these warnings take towels at least 3 times in our stay they ran out either at the pool of in the room. We went in June and found at least 50% of the amenities were closed. Not a good experience and I will be writing to the Jamaican Tourist Board to complain
