The location was good, the room clean and spacious, great shower. Due to the bank holiday our breakfast was moved to another hotel which, while 5 star, was not as good as breakfast at the Caju.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'hôtel Caju. L'emplacement de l'hôtel était idéal, à 5 min. à pied de la plupart des endroits où nous voulions aller. La chambre était superbe, avec beaucoup de fenêtres à ouvrir sur la ville.

Bella struttura in pieno centro con ottima colazione con prodotti freschi, salutari e di qualità. La nostra camera era spaziosa e luminosa. Unico neo é l’assenza di un parcheggio, per cui è necessario lasciare l’auto per strada a pagamento o nel centro commerciale che può risultare scomodo e costoso.

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in hotel Cajú. De medewerkers zijn ontzettend behulpzaam en de service is uitstekend. Het ontbijt wordt vers bereid en er is de mogelijkheid voor een ontbijtpakket als je vroeg de deur uit gaat voor te wandelen of vliegveld. Het hotel ligt centraal in het centrum van Funchal. Fijn om te voet het centrum te verkennen.

We loved our 4 nights in Funchal and pleased we stayed at the Caju. The location was perfect in the narrow streets and everything was walkable from here. The reception team were all really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was the best with so much choice. We even ordered our breakfast the night before our airport transfer so we were served promptly. Our room was lovely with a balcony, the only thing that could have made it better was a fly screen on the window so we could open it at night. Thank you so much.

The room and breakfast whete out standing!

This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. As soon as we arrived we felt extremely welcomed by Henrique on reception who looked after us very well. All staff members in the hotel and restaurant were extremely friendly, helpful and polite, which made this stay an enjoyable experience for myself and my partner. The room was very clean, there was lots of space, the beds were comfy and we had an amazing view from our room ! The location of the hotel is brilliant, right in the middle of everything. Breakfast was delicious, we could even pre order breakfast to take with us on our hikes which was extremely helpful and you got a lot of food ! We were thrilled with staying at Hotel Caju and would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Madeira !! Would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Funchal.

We had an early flight and the staff made us breakfast boxes before the restaurant was open.

We had a lovely stay at this very pleasant hotel. The room was lovely and the location was excellent. We were disappointed that the pool facilities could not be used at the sister hotel - The Vine. However, we were advised that the Spa facilities were available but these were undergoing a refurbishment and were closed!

really enjoyed my stay at hotel Caju recently. the rooms were really nice and the daily breakfast a la carte was excellent. the staff was very nice and friendly. the location was close to everything. i had the gym to myself most times so i enjoyed that also. definitely would recommend hotel Caju
