Tutto ben curato, gestori molto gentili, bel posto non lontano delle spiagge e del centro di Williamstad. Molto da consigliare.

Die Unterkunft sah genau so aus wie auf den Bildern, mitten im Grünen. Es war wunderbar ruhig und friedlich, man hat nur das Zwitschern der Vögel gehört. Die Gastgeber Frederieke und Jeroen waren sehr hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und immer gut erreichbar. Es gibt einen digitalen Reiseführer mit Tipps für Restaurants, Strände etc., das war sehr hilfreich. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr gepflegt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

I spent a week at Jan Kok while on a birding holiday. The property is safe, quiet, and perfect for those looking for privacy and seclusion. This is a great choice for birders, as the property has lots of plants and resident birds, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the nearby salina, where flamingos and other waterbirds abound. A car is absolutely necessary, but there's a grocery store and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The lodges are very clean and stocked with all the basic kitchen tools, but bring your own soap, shampoo, and coffee or tea. Highly recommended for independent travelers who want to avoid the noise and bustle of resorts.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in stunning Curaçao. This was made perfect by our staying at the amazing Jan Kok Lodges. What Frederieke and Jeroen have created is quite remarkable. An absolute little botanical garden of lodges set in a lush jungly surroundings. It is like entering a Shangri-La, a lost world, a tropical Paradise. Our hosts were always near to hand if we needed any information and were most hospitable. We stayed in the garden bungalow which was spacious and very private. We were surrounded by cacti, aloes and a profusion of tropical plants. We were awoken by the exotic sounds of beautifully coloured tropical birds. The bungalow was well appointed and the laundry and beach towels were regularly changed. The ladies who do the room service were lovely. Renting a car is essential for getting around we rented direct from Jan Kok Lodges. In the package, Jeroem met us from the airport and after a 9 hour flight from Amsterdam that was a bonus in itself as the place is tucked away and not so easy to find in the first instance. However the property is well placed to reach all the best beaches on the island. There is a relaxing pool area which we used but were out most days and ate out most evenings. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away. If you want to get away from the tourist areas with the cheap tacky souvenir shops, bars, music and budget hotels, Jan Kok presents and oasis in the real Curaçao. You will not be disappointed!

O quarto é grande e equipado. A condição geral da hospedagem adequada, mas não é estilo de hotel que gosto. Consigo entender os hóspedes que deram boas avaliações, mas não me agradou. Localização ao norte da ilha em local isolado, mais próximo das melhores praias e longe do centro de Curacao. Durante a hospedagem não tem limpeza do quarto ou recolhimento do lixo.

The place is both beautiful and super convenient. The location is great, all our fav beaches we 10-15 min away (by car). The place is super well maintained and tranquil. Huge bonus is that they really took care of all the things you might need: kitchens are very well equipped, so are yhe suits, plus they even had beach coolers and towels. The hosts are super nice and responsive as well.

Frederieke and her husband have created this wonderful jungle oasis that was serene and so well taken care of. It was a great way to explore the middle of the island and they were very communicative. The outdoor kitchen and barbecue are great, and it was such a treat to be in nature. Would visit again!

Meist denkt man ja, langjährige Stammkunden der Unterkunft beschönigen hier bei den Bewertungen vielleicht ein bisschen, deshalb war auch ich vor meiner Reise noch zurückhaltend. Aber während meines Aufenthalts ist mir schnell klar geworden, dass jedes positives Urteil hier voll und ganz zutrifft. Das beginnt bei der freundlichen, schnellen und hilfsbereiten Kommunikation via Whatsapp oder auch persönlich, geht weiter über die tadellose Ausstattung der Unterkunft und endet bei der zweifellos liebevoll gestalteten Anlage insgesamt. Ich habe mich an jedem meiner Tage auf Curacao darauf gefreut, nach einem intensiven Sightseeing-Tag wieder zurück zur Unterkunft zu kommen und dort den Tag ausklingen lassen zu können. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Insel Curacao ist ebenso wunderschön und ich hatte ein bisschen ein schlechtes Gewissen, dass ich die Vorzüge der Unterkunft gar nicht voll ausnutzen konnte. Man könnte einen Tag komplett in der Jan Kok Lodge verbringen und es wäre nie langweilig. Sicher könnte man die Zufahrt ein klein wenig verbessern - der Schotterweg ist ok, aber die größeren Löcher am Abzweig wären vielleicht vermeidbar. ;) Ich würde wirklich uneingeschränkt jederzeit wieder hier übernachten wollen, wenn ich auf Curacao wäre. Das schreibt man bei vielen Bewertungen vielleicht etwas leichtfertig hin, aber noch noch nie war ich so davon überzeugt wie diesmal.

Goede centrale ligging tussen Willemstad en Westpunt met allerlei kleine standjes op korte afstand. Mooi aangelegde tuin en prettige accommodatie voor mensen die rust zoeken. De lodge was ruim en, schoon en goed. Zwembad is klein en op het moment van aankomst niet schoon, verder ook geen gebruik meer van gemaakt

Very beautiful and well kept lodge.There is a beautiful pool although we did not use as we were out exploring curacao from pretty early and then back later. The location was very quiet and kitchen very well equipped. Owners were always around and helpful with any questions.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in einer grünen Oase voller Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit und sehr netten Gastgebern

I loved most aspects of this accommodation - our apartment had the best view, in my opinion, and a large terrace which we loved and used a lot! I also especially loved the bed - it was the most comfortable of our entire trip! Pool was great and the lushness of the setting incredible - this is a family-owned business (Dutch couple) and it really shows how proud they are of their property! They are also almost always available and keep a constant eye on things. There were a couple of smaller issues (check-in at 4pm seems rather late to me, and in my opinion, the kitchen facilities could have been slightly better - if a communal outdoor kitchen is advertised but the fridge is not usuable because it's not turned on to save energy, that takes away a bit from the overall awesomeness). But none of this would stop me from staying there again - it's a beautiful place and close to the best beaches of the island (Cas Abao, Porto Maria etc.). I'd recommend booking an apartment vs. one of the studios - the location is better and you have more privacy.

Es gab sehr guten Kontakt zu den Vermietern, sie haben 2 mal am Tag nach dem Rechten geschaut. Wir konnten mit jedem Anliegen zu Ihnen gehen und es wurde uns geholfen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.
