We always stay at this hotel. Not even looking for others accommodations. The rate is little bit higher but good service and excellent room to stay.

We stayed here again after we began our trip to Hawaii. This time the blackout blind didn't work. I didn't want them to fix it in the middle of our 2-day stay they were willing to do it they didn't offer to move me to another room which I thought they would. Was a little disappointed that and the shower clothes line was broken. Other than that it was good

We love staying at the Halepuna! It is always a beautiful stay, the service is excellent and the view from our room is great. The only complaint is the condition of the pool and spa. The tiles were moldy and dirty. We would not use the pool again, unless it was cleaned/remodeled.

Highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful customer service. Eric and Ryan were very helpful. We had the ocean view room and it was beautiful. The infinity pool was also very serene. Thank you for such an amazing experience. Can’t wait to be back!

We were here during the tsunami warning of July 2025 and we had checked out of the Halepuna the day before, but when our other hotel had a forced evacuation and we were turned away from five other hotels in Waikiki - no one was accepting new reservations - Halepuna graciously allowed us to return. The staff worked tirelessly all night during the tsunami warning, setting up metal barriers for flood water, providing free sandwiches and water when all other businesses shut down, and even driving guests to the airport at midnight when Ubers and taxis were out of service. I have never experienced such a conscientious hospitality and extreme ownership from hospitality staff.

Very cleanly, incredibly friendly and attentive staff. It’s practically on the beach and just a 4 minute walk to Waikiki beach. We were on property during the tsunami warning evacuation/preparation procedure and the hotel staff handled everything beautifully. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good location.

The Halepuna Hotel was such a treat! It was beautiful inside and out. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was in walking distance. The hotel is in a tucked away location, away from all the hustle. Beautiful and highly recommend. Aloha!

オーシャンビューの部屋を予約していたので 部屋とラナイからの眺めは最高でした！！ また、金曜日の花火もラナイから見えたので良かったです！ 部屋も綺麗で、清潔感があるのが良いです。 3歳の子供と一緒だったので、ベッドから落ちるか不安でしたがベッドガードと、クッションで壁側に落ちないようにしていたら 次の日にベッドを壁側に寄せてくれていたので助かりました。ありがとうございます。 ホテルのスタッフの方、皆さん優しくて親切だったのでまた次回も滞在したいと思えるホテルです！！ あと夏休み期間中の、金曜日限定無料アイスもボリュームいっぱいで美味しかったです。

This hotel thinks of everything. I had parking no resort fee first class amenities. We moved to the Moana Surfrider for a conference. I rebooked the hotel I had after the conference to go back to the Halepuna. The Deep soak tub was unparalleled. The bathroom was the best bathroom I've ever stayed at at a hotel. And even though I didn't have a real balcony, the view of the mountains was excellent. No Morning Sun waking you up no glaring in the face. And they had blackout Shades that were push button. And a bidet. That was top quality. The pool was cool! And the hot tub hot. And they gave you slippers and water bottles so you could refill. And they cleaned their ice machines. All in all this was a hotel I will come back to if I'm ever in Hawaii again. I like staying on the beach don't get me wrong but you are right beside the beach if you wanted to go there. And they gave me late check out. 2:00 p.m.! Thank you to all the staff there. It is a VIP Hotel

お部屋は新しく、オーシャンビュー側にしたので部屋からの眺めもよく、快適でした。立地も大変便利です。 ベランダに出ると前のホテルの室外機の音が凄くてのんびりできないのが少し残念ですが、ハレクラニよりは設備は綺麗だし、サービスも良かったです。
