We recently stayed at this modern resort with our extended family, including two young children. Overall, the resort offers a good experience for families, with friendly staff, engaging entertainment, and excellent music by the pool that created a lively atmosphere. The water park, nearby ice cream shop, and casual fast food café were highlights for the kids and contributed greatly to their enjoyment. However, the resort did feel overcrowded at times. This led to long lines at the buffet and a busy, at times uncomfortable, pool area where some guests remained in the water for extended periods without breaks, raising concerns about hygiene.
The beach was a disappointment, as it was heavily covered in seaweed, making it virtually unusable during our stay. While the buffet offered decent food, the options were somewhat repetitive. On a more positive note, the specialty restaurants we tried provided very good meals.
We did experience an unfortunate incident when an elderly family member, aged 87, slipped near the pool and injured his arm. The staff responded quickly and escorted him to the resort’s clinic, where basic first aid was administered. However, we were surprised and disappointed to be charged $250 for what amounted to minimal medical attention (a cleaning and a gauze wrap), which we felt was excessive.
Despite these concerns, we tried to make the most of our time, especially for the children who thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
