Rating & Review Keseluruhan Mountain Harbour B&B and Hiker Hostel

Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.

A wonderful bed and breakfast. Fabulous hamburgers and other sandwiches and nice selection of beers on site. The staff are wonderful. It is undergoing some renovations on part of lower part of the property due to Hurricane Helen and will be even better soon. Highly recommend. Welcoming, comfortable and homelike.

I have nothing but great things to say. At first it was a little confusing because it was my first time booking something that isn’t a hotel but I would definitely come back.

WHAT A LOVELY, AFFORDABLE PLACE to stay. The owners and caretaker are so friendly and acceptable. They treated me like a king. I stayed 5 nights. I will surely return again.

My Husband and I came to the B&B to stay while I had to go the next day for a meeting at Lees McRae. We really enjoyed the food that we had at the restaurant. Then while staying in the Jefferson we enjoyed the private hot tub in the room and the comfortable spacious room. The next morning there was breakfast provided in the kitchen below. There was more than enough to eat. I highly recommend this B & B and plan to stay here in the future.

Staff was outstanding. Food choices could be improved. Food not always available when it should. This is a nice establishment and I will definitely be back.

We appreciated the ease of checking into the house. It was very neat and the staff were very helpful. The room was quite nice. But the best aspect of all was the amazing breakfast! Almost as good as some buffets in Vegas! We were quite impressed.

Absolutely breathtaking

I liked the quiet and the sound of the creek nearby it's pretty magical. It's basic no electricity and the port a potty is a ways in the middle of the night but I enjoyed my stay

Second visit here…friendly folks, beautiful surroundings, comfy room, just off the AT. Breakfast (and the “Kitchen”/food truck) is as good as you’ve heard…AWESOME. We’ll be heading there again!

This was my third stay. You have access to toaster and microwave pot for hot water refrigerator space. Accomodations are upstairs. I have found it liked bunk A better than bunk C. The peace and quiet numerous places to sit and marvel at the beauty around you

It's hard to find a good hostel this one is magnificent. The people are friendly and the food is so good at the restaurant. I had the first bunk comfortable slept well. The area around is beautiful and very relaxing a creek runs through the place.

This was my 5th time visiting Mountain Harbour and it is always wonderful. The owner's are continuously adding to and improving the property so each visit has been unique. The added bar area is awesome and the entire staff is just amazing. The things that haven't changed are the great service and the literally the best breakfast you will ever have. I can't wait to plan my 6th trip.

The food was fabulous and the hosts hospitality was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! This was my first B&B experience and I was very nervous. The hosts made it so comfortable and inviting. A definite recommended. Thanks for sharing your home and company.

It's a gorgeous place in the middle of mountains wonderful view and great accomodations. Caretaker on premise made sure I was comfortable
