Wonderful hotel Very clean and accommodating Short walk to French Quarter

Fantastic location- just outside of the French quarter so it’s quiet at night. Our room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice location with a fun train lobby.

The location was perfect and plenty of parking if you’re driving there. The only bad thing is there is no pool.

The room only had 2 mirror that were both in the bathroom. There was only a microwave in the staff lounge.

We absolutely loved The Brakeman! The spot is perfect for walking to just about anything. Loved the charm of the place and our room was perfect!

The location was excellent. Cross Rampart and you are in the quarter. We liked the museum in the lobby and the cleanliness of the property in general. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Awesome hotel. Very accommodating. Great location. Walking distance to all of the nice restaurants we went to for brunch and dinner. Can also easily walk to Bourbon. Hotel is really nice and interesting. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

This was a rare find. Historic structure but rooms were modernized. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Big bathroom and bedroom. Quiet. Front desk check in was a little disheveled due to new staff but she was very helpful and friendly. Didn’t mind the inexperience because she was so nice and trying so hard. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Hôtel atypique dans une ancienne gare. J'ai adoré le style. Le réceptionniste de l'après-midi est très fun. L'hôtel est au pied du french quarter. La chambre est calme et spacieuse. Petit bémol : l'hôtel ne propose pas le petit déjeuner mais il y a une possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner à proximité

Nice boutique hotel near Louis I cemetery. Walkable to the FQ. Limited amenities… cafe doesn’t open until 8:30 and closes at 3 pm. Some dining and drinking establishments within a couple blocks… bar tonique and jewel of the south especially notable.

The best hotel experience! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were super clean. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to travel to New Orleans!

This hotel was beautiful! Had a very historic feel, while having the modern convenience. Make sure to visit the gift shop. You can book most any tour in the lobby. Has a great cafe, that I wish opened just a bit earlier. 4 blocks from Bourbon St, so the tipsy walk home isn't too bad. The rooms are HUGE! Nice bathroom and shower. Overall, a great place to stay.

This hotel was so unique! We loved the walkability to other areas of NOLA. There was easy access to tours from the downstairs lobby - hop on/hop off bus, cemetery tour. The rooms were comfortable and there were so many points that required key access that the location felt very secure.
