My stay at Tamala would have been terrible if it hadn't been the staff, I unfortunately got sick soon after arriving at the hotel, and the staff were amazing in how they took care of me during this time, forever grateful.

I took a week off from work to rest and it was the best idea i had to go to Tamala. From the large, nice and clean room, the beautiful scenery to the kindness of the staff, everything was impeccable. I had to extend my stay for one more day. I had an excellent experience.

Un beau potentiel, mais des améliorations nécessaires. J’ai séjourné récemment au Tamala Resort , et je dois dire que le cadre est agréable, entre plage et piscine. Le personnel est globalement aimable, et à mon arrivée, un agent m’a gentiment aidé avec mes bagages. Cela dit, au moment du départ (check-out), aucun accompagnement n’a été proposé, ce qui m’a un peu déçu, surtout pour un établissement qui vise un certain standing. Concernant la chambre, la propreté reste moyenne et mériterait un meilleur suivi. L’hôtel gagnerait aussi à fournir davantage d’accessoires de base : dentifrice, brosse à dents, chaussons, etc. Quand on voyage, on s’attend à retrouver un minimum de confort sans avoir à tout apporter soi-même. L’établissement semble avoir besoin d’une rénovation globale : matelas, sanitaires, équipements, ambiance… cela se ressent dans les détails. La salle de sport est correcte, mais basique, et pourrait être améliorée. Autre point : la “piscine privée” indiquée pour certaines chambres n’est en réalité pas totalement privée, mais partagée avec d’autres chambres de la même catégorie. Cela peut poser problème à certains clients, notamment ceux qui recherchent une vraie intimité (familles, couples, ou clients de cultures plus strictes). Côté restauration : je suis arrivé au brunch à 15h, et bien que le service ait été réduit à moins de 30 minutes, aucun geste commercial n’a été proposé. J’ai même dû payer l’espresso à part, ce qui n’est pas habituel dans ce

Location of our apartment was superior with privat pool and ocean view. Short walking distanses to various internal restaurants. Friendly pesonnel.

Stümperhaft Renovierung der Zimmer, Terrassenschiebetür beschädigt und nicht zu verschließen. Bezahlte Halbpension wurde nicht geliefert, sondern wegen Renovierung geschlossen- hätte vor Vertragsabschluss angekündigt werden müssen! Ich hätte so nicht gebucht. Allerdings Angestellte waren alle sehr nett und freundlich.

The hotel has really fallen into ruin which is a shame. The rooms are in dire need of getting a makeover. Half the rooms were closed undergoing renovation so I’m curious to return to see how much it has improved. Regardless, in the current condition it’s in, it’s priced far too high. The other downside was also that the beach is not private so there’s a lot of people and the beach is also in poor condition with plastics that aren’t cleaned in front of the rooms. I did love the food and the staff were great.

Rooms need to be updated.

Great hotel! Only thing I would change is the pool hours for kids! It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were perfection!

Service for issues was slow, took 4 days to connect tv and there was only one reastraunt to choose from for meals. I stayed 10 days and the menu got boring by day 5. However, brunch on sunday was fabulous and barbque nights on friday and sat was good too. Allthough it was a seperate charge and we where not made aware of the options, by staff had to figure it out so missed out on the seperate menu. I think the staff should could do a better job at keeping customers aware of events when staying. All in all a good price and a comfortable stay

I went here for the second time. This round i had 14nights. Had some problems in the beginning with cleaning off room. But when i took it up with management they turned it around and made sure the rest off the stay was without anything to complain about. The staff, kitchen, waiters, security and rest is doing a fantastic job to make you feel welcomed and without anything. Good location, good food and nice place overall. Had the room with view over the sea. Recommended to stay there.

Myself and my husband enjoyed our stay at Tamala hotel. We were there for 2 weeks. Initially we had issues with our room, but this was sorted fairly swiftly and were given a room in better condition. All the staff were very approachable and helpful - particularly Babou, the housekeeper Musa Ceesay and Babucarr. Entertainment was great and happened regularly.

wasn’t too bad on my first night but the AC Was rather noisey on my second . it was clanking away all night and kept dripping water on the floor. wasn’t comfortable at all so overall was a waste of money for me the second night

The staff were very polite and helpful and the cleaning of the room was of a good standard the food was average as i thought more variety would not go amiss . The only complaint i have is that i booked my rooms in advance and putting in the notes that they should be next door to each other that service i did not received and we were given rooms away from each other. As a group booking the hotel should accommodate more by putting group bookings next door to each other if requested

Beautiful views and property grounds and pleasant staff but definitely not worth the price. 3 star hotel at best. The room was not cleaned upon my arrival and staff continually forgot to respond to my requests. The bed sheets were dirty, coffee cups were dirty, patio door wouldn’t lock, sink wouldn’t drain properly, inconsistent hot water, etc. Gym equipment is old and doesn’t work. The rooms and gym need proper upkeep. Lastly, if you have an oceanfront room on block 4 you will very likely hear loud music all night coming from a private property on the beach. Overall my stay wasn’t terrible but i feel way overcharged for what i received for the price I paid.

Beautiful property, and felt safe and the staff was super friendly

The property looks nice in pictures and some parts are nice - like the dining areas and pool area. However, the rooms are not even close to 4 stars. The linens are stained or dirty. Our sheets always had marks on them and the towels as well, when you could get them. There seems to be a problem with laundry. Had to keep sliders closed because there were no screens so it was impossible to relax and listen to the ocean and bugs were let in when you opened the door. Everyday we found big old cockroaches in our room- gross! The positive is that for the most part employees were very nice.
