Awesome stay. Breakfast was great and made to order. Along with the made to order portion of your breakfast, there were also plenty of items to select. Would stay again without hesitation.

We had a great stay! The location is perfect overlooking the see. The owner and the staff were delightful. Excellent breakfast. Would have been 5 stars if it was a little cheaper.

We loved our stay

We choose this hotel due to its convenient proximity to cape Agulhas which is a quick 10 minute drive away. The hotel is situated on the coast in Struisbaai. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. There is a large lounge and honesty bar for the guests to use, which is a wonderful feature. We had the place to ourselves and it was fun to be a bar attendant for the night! We also had a massage the next morning, which was reasonably priced and very relaxing.

Fantastic spot. Large clean comfortable rooms, with super friendly host. East to find, right on the coast, and also had a gated parking area right next to the house. Wish we had stayed longer, would def reccomend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chateau and Monique and her staff were amazing. The room was spotless as well as the common areas. We felt right at home and can’t wait to visit again!

The property is very lovely and the service was warm and friendly. Our host even reached out before we arrived and offered to make a dinner reservation for us at a popular local restaurant. We only spent one night while passing through on a road trip. Despite all the great things about the property (beautiful common room with “honesty bar” and board games, nice breakfast, etc) I wouldn’t stay again because our room felt damp and musty. The hotel is right near the ocean, but there don’t seem to be air exchangers in the room or even extractor fans in the bathroom to keep the humidity in check. So for us it wasn’t a pleasant stay because of the damp feeling of the bedding and slight mustiness of the (otherwise lovely) room.

A great little boutique hotel with a few unique extras re hospitality. Katura and her staff do a VG job.

Um die Ecke vom südlichsten Punkt gelegen, ist die Unterkunft gut gelegen. Das Zimmer 4 hat ein Kinderzimmer und die verschiedenen Stofftiere wie die PlayStation waren eine willkommene Abwechslung auf unserer Rundreise. Das Frühstück war ebenso gut. Die Selbstbedienungsbar war ungewohnt und Snacks haben gefehlt.

Spacious bedroom, but let down by tiny shower room. My wife likened it to a caravan! Shower room sliding door wall had gap at top, no separate light in shower room, all lights had be switched on. Access difficult from car park. Huge communal areas.

Everything was fine. The only thing that concerned me was the fact that I was asked by some “Man” at this specific property whilst standing outside, next to my room and on a conference call “What am i doing on the property And what do I want” As I do not want to go down the racial road, this is very concerning as myself and my wife was the only people of color staying there that night.

The property was kept in immaculate condition. A lot of attention to detail. Staff was very friendly and location was great. Across the street from the ocean.
