Had the most amazing time here at Sansal Chania Crête, the staff are amazing and so friendly, this is our first visit to Crete Sansal and we definitely will return, the roof top pool and bar was an added bonus, at times we had the whole pool area to ourselves which was fabulous, the bar staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was superb, cereals, cooked breakfast, pastries, jams, nuts, continental breakfast as well, fresh orange juice, choice of hot beverages. Staff speak excellent English so excellent communication. Our room had a sea view which we never tired off, the road the hotel is on was quiet at night although it did have traffic it never affected our stay, the room was cleaned every day and they did a fabulous job. Location of hotel was perfect 10 min walk to local port where all the tavernas are, we also had a meal at the hotel which was reasonably priced and great quality. Then 10-15 minute walk in opposite direction was the beach, plenty of sun beds to rent plus excellent service on the beach for drinks and food. Only 30 minutes from Chania airport which we contacted Sansal before we arrived and they organised the taxi shuttle for us, which went very smoothly. Glass boat trip was worth the money too, would recommend the hop on hop off bus trip which picks you up practically outside the hotel, we enjoyed sitting on the bus for 90 mins sight seeing. Very peaceful tranquil holiday spent here in Chania,

Excellent in every way

Wonderful modern sleek hotel in the perfect location. The staff are truly amazing, so helpful & very friendly. Beautiful rooftop bar & pool which is gorgeous at sunset. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone travelling to Chania

Fantastic included breakfast. Like, really good. The orange juice, sheeps milk yogurt and cheese, fruit, eggs cooked in olive oil. So good. Helpful, friendly staff, great seaside views. Nice showers and beds. Quiet. Calming. Fantastic walkable location.

Loved it Would stay again

Fell somewhat short of our expectations. Beware that a/c may not be available depending on the time of the year -- as the whole building as to either be on a/c or heat and individual rooms cannot be on different heat/cool settings. The shower pressure was quite low and, in general, upkeep and cleanliness was not as high as it should have been given the newness of the property and its pricing. Staff, however, were very friendly and helpful.

Arguably the best hotel in Chania, Crete. Very good service and amazing rooms. Very close to the Chania’s Old Harbor.

Clean room, staff was nice, beach view was amazing.

Air con was great and parking was right outside the hotel so perfect for convenience. All staff were super helpful and our best stay of the 9 days in Greece. Very clean room with amazing view.

It's a lovely hotel in a great location but they miss out on a few details. The rooms are large, stylish and modern and it is just a short walk to the historic port with great restaurants. Examples of what lets it down are small details like the posters in the lift are stuck on with peeling tape, the paving outside is uneven. There's no desk in the room and only one seat. Breakfast has a limited selection and you can order a cooked meal but it's basic. Parking is free but a limited number of spaces. It's a great hotel, but could be even better.

Air and heat in the room were good. Breakfast was excellent. Lunch and dinner options were also very good.

The SanSal hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast, awsome views over the city and harbor and very nicely appointed rooms.

Our experience at Sansal Boutique Hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The team supported us even before we arrived and continued to go above and beyond throughout our entire stay. The staff were truly out of this world; a special thank you to Alexia and Renata! Their energy, attentiveness, and genuine care were 5-star in every way. The reception team were always so helpful, assisting us with restaurant recommendations and arranging our laundry seamlessly. On the morning of our departure, they kindly prepared breakfast for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. A huge thank you to Renata for surprising us with an upgraded room with a beautiful ocean view — waking up to that view each day was simply amazing and made our stay even more special. I also have to mention the fantastic breakfast team. They freshly prepare your eggs exactly to your preference, and the quality and variety of options available each morning were excellent. Everything about the hotel was amazing, and I can’t forget the wonderful housekeeping team who kept everything spotless. I could go on all day! We will definitely be returning. I consider myself a local now haha. Thank you again for such an unforgettable stay!

Great hotel, really nice staff, pool is awesome!

SanSal was in the perfect location close to Old Town Chania, the light house and nice restaurants. The Sea view area was worth the money with the breakfast being an additional bonus. The staff ate all wonderful and they will make you cappuccinos and eggs cooked how you would like them. The ham and cheese omelet was superb! Alexa at the front desk was a gem in providing us a detailed map of the perfect suggestions to do in Crete from hikes to exploring caves and beaches! We loved it here so much that throughout our travels of Crete that we stayed 3 nights.

The food was terrible, i ordered a Margherita pizza and got a cheese pizza with so much cheese it could gag a person. The room and location were very nice and the staff were all very friendly
