Modest price, convenient

Perfect place at the start of the Caboto Trail! Spectacular view. Super friendly owner/operators. 10/10.

Clean room and bathroom, fantastic view and host was very helpful with directions on food and sights to see.

Room was very clean, friendly owner however the closest restaurant was a 20min drive. The restaurant was called Clucking Hen Cafe was spectacular, great suggestions from the motel owner.

There wasn’t any air conditioning. Nothing updated at all. It was a bed to sleep in!

Clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable; Pillows were great. Needs some updates, more electrical outlets and better lighting. I would stay again.

The accommodations were magnificent! TV channels were sparse, but to be expected in an area where service would be spotty. Would definitely book here again!!!

This is an excellent place to stay. It seems a bit remote but for the value for your money, it was worth it. Vince was an awesome host. We had a view of the lake so that was very nice. the room is actually as you see on their website, so there were no surprises except they provide more then they state on the website. Actual mugs for you coffee, real glasses, Kettle, Toaster, coffee maker. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would definitely stay here again. Also very close to the Gaelic College and about a half hour from Baddeck with wonderful restaurants etc.

The location and view can't be beat. Easy off the highway and can sit in front of our picture window and be right next to the ocean water gazing across the bay. The owners were beyond helpful giving us suggestions on places to eat, see and do. They were a big help.

There was no A/C, no head board on bed, sheets could be upgraded. Outside building could look better.

We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back. The owners made us feel so welcome and was quick to accommodate any of our needs. The view was beautiful.
