A very tired looking hotel, both on the inside and out but a pleasant stay nevertheless.

In need of a bit of exterior decorating but still good value for a seaside hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast had everything we needed

Great place to stay with only a one minute walk †o the beach across the hotel's garden. The room was fine but the tv was a bit small to watch the tennis - joke. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very helpful.

Toilet could do with a deep clean. Marks at bottom of pan. Breakfast was good with excellent selection.

Ok for an overnight stay.

Only stayed one night, but the staff were amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel does need a litten attention but its a comfortable place to stay. The bonus is the location, right on the seafront. Would definitely stay again.

They couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive, my van broke down and they supported me through it, helped arrange garages etc as I was 300 miles from home. Hotel is great, lovely rooms and great views. Price point is unbelievable I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

Its a good solid hotel that I have come back to and will come back to again, slightly dated in the rooms but none the worse for that, very good staff

The staff, we found to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Room bedding and towels were clean with replacements available if required. Rooms were serviced alternate days, but also on request. Breakfasts were well presented with plenty of choices from hot, cereals, fruit, pastries etc We had dinner most evenings, which we enjoyed, with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. Also sandwiches were available if requested at lunch time in the bar.

Von Aussen schlimm…. Von innen ist es wichtig ein neues Zimmer zu buchen. Wir haben das ‚Classic‘ gebucht…. Naja, alt, riecht komisch, aber sauber. Frühstück tiptop, Parkplatz wie überall in England bezahlen.

Great location, ok breakfast, generally old and tired but ok, have stayed in better and also much worse. Value for money.

We have stayed at the Imperial many times now and it's still one of our favourites! The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble. Whilst it's not the smartest of hotel it is very clean and has a homely feel. We had a superior double room with sea views which were amazing. The situation is right on the seafront with the park and town a very short walk away. The grounds are lovely and we loved watching the squirrels scampering around. The breakfasts are extensive with the usual hot food and also cheeses, meats, croissants, different pastries and fresh fruit. The restaurant is also very good in the evenings with a different menu each day with a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts and very generous portions and reasonably priced. The rooms are very comfortable and the superior rooms have filter coffee machines, kettle and tea, coffee, etc.

Hotel is very nice and the staff helpful and friendly. It’s looking a little tired and could do with a make over in places. The quality of the food is excellent and tasty.

A good breakfast choice, both cereal/nuts/seeds/fruit and hot English breakfast, although the toaster was a tad slow.

Nice coffee makers in the room we're a great touch. Lovely balcony looking out to sea. Great kibene and towels. Property will be renovated next year.
