The views of the house were remarkable, and the house itself is neat and tidy and cosy, but to get into the house with the amount of narrow stairs u need climb is way too much specially if u have knee problems, the oven had residue of oven cleaner in it which made it impossible to use , The worst part was waking up 8am in the morning with the sound of lawn mowing and blowing the grass on the land of the house and with men surrounding all around the house which is all glass and windows ,evoking our privacy while we’re sleeping ,even though our checkout was 2hrs later, the owner could've tell them to wait these 2hrs until we go

Kitchen well equipped. Nice and cosy place with the view of the lake high up the hill.

We loved our stay

We stayed for 2 nights with 3 adults and 2 children and it was absolutely perfect! The views were phenomenal :) Highly recommended! Rooms were lovely and clean. Check in/out instructions were very detailed and clear which made things so easy for us. Communication with the owner was easy and he was very attentive to our needs.

The lodge was beautifully located, perfect holiday spot for our family. With breathtaking views and everything you need.

Like the view and it was like a home away from home. Shower water pressure can be improved. Would be even nicer if electric blankets are provided, although general heating provided is very good.

We are a family of 4 with young kids from QLD and stayed here for a week. The cabin was clean, comfortable and cosy. The owners obviously take a lot of care in planning for their guests. There IS a very narrow and windy staircase up to get there which can be annoying with luggage. But this is a small price to pay for one of the most spectacular views I’ve ever seen. Drinking a coffee and staring at those mountains felt like such a profound treat. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful and extremely comfortable home. Loved the fireplace and the bbq dinners with a stunning view. Everything we would have needed was supplied. We will hire this home again in near future. Many thanks

Drive way very steep. The steps are steep from the garage to walk to the house & slippery when wet. Parking was uneven to park on. Lighting outside the front sliding door could be brighter. Found the furniture average & the lounges well used. Beds were average to sleep on. Location good.

Big house with lots of room. Has what you need for a stay. Need a car otherwise long walk uphill to get to house from town. Owner was good with messages but for some reason I was never able to reply or send a message to them? If they had messages turned on I would have told them in private that the downstairs bathroom sink is blocked and was for our whole stay. We had to brush our teeth etc in the kitchen sink. Clearly no one noticed this when they cleaned the sink perhaps... Oh and the drier is venting out into the washroom as well so you need a longer venting tube. This makes the steam go throughout the house and will make things damp...

Host provided clear instructions for check in and route to house. Accommodation was spacious in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms were spacious and kept warm with a lovely fireplace.Mountain view from balcony just out of this world and you can catch sight of the Milky Way away from the city lights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.
