Property was visually beautiful. Lots of nice pools and great views. Breakfast buffet was good. Service was lacking. We were switched into a different room “equivalent” than what was booked. Need to have a car rented or you will be stuck in the property. Value for the money was not there.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt im Royal Senses Resort auf Kreta Wir haben 5 wundervolle Tage (4 Nächte) im The Royal Senses Resort auf Kreta verbracht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt etwa eine Stunde vom Flughafen Heraklion entfernt und bietet eine ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre – ideal zum Abschalten. Obwohl der Check-in offiziell erst um 15 Uhr ist, durften wir bereits gegen 12 Uhr auf unser Zimmer – ein Grand Deluxe Room mit privatem Pool. Wir wurden mit dem Golfcart hingebracht, was sehr komfortabel war. Das Zimmer war großzügig, modern und sehr sauber. Besonders der private Pool und die große Terrasse mit Meerblick haben uns begeistert – vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang einfach traumhaft! Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstück war solide, wenn auch jeden Tag recht ähnlich. Das Abendessen hingegen war exzellent: große Auswahl, täglich neue Gerichte und sehr gute Qualität – von Ribeye-Steak über gegrillten Lachs bis zu Garnelen und Spare Ribs war alles dabei. Über die hoteleigene App konnten wir unkompliziert Restaurantreservierungen und Bestellungen tätigen – sehr praktisch! Ein kleiner Nachteil war, dass Cocktails nicht aufs Zimmer bestellt werden konnten. Laut Hotel liegt das an der Qualitätssicherung während des Transports. Das ist verständlich, aber etwas umständlich, wenn man abends einfach entspannen möchte. Die Hotelanlage ist weitläufig und teilweise etwas verwinkelt – fast wie ein kleines Labyrinth. Statt Meerblick, hat man ein Dach Blick, nicht wie auf den Bilder vom Hotel. Sauna und Pool Bereich kosten 40€ pro Person pro Stunde. Im adult only Poolbereich gab es 3 jacuzzi, 2 davon haben nicht funktioniert. Gym super Klein, schlecht ausgestattet. Allgemein waren viele Sachen im Hotel kaputt, man kann es nicht übersehen.

Beautiful hotel and service was fantastic in every part of the hotel except for the buffet. There were a lot of staff but always had to call someone to the table to either get a drink or set the table. Also, ordered drinks that never came. This happened on multiple occasions. Other than that, the hotel service was impeccable. I would highly recommend.

Excellent resort, perfect for families with little kids! My wife and 3-year old stayed for 4 lovely nights and had a great time. The staff is incredible and the grounds are well-tended to. We rented a car so we could explore the island and not just stay camped in at the resort. The beach is accessible through their sister property and they run shuttles every 30 minutes. It was superb. Highly recommend! Plenty to do - so much swimming!

The private pool in the room was not clean for three days, and they did not offer us an alternative room.

Would absolutely recommend. The staff was amazing, the views are stunning, the food was delicious, the rooms Are spacious and luxurious. We had the most amazing stay from start to finish and can’t wait to go back!

Ein tolles Hotel. Unsere privat Pool Villa war wundervoll. Es waren aber wirklich sehr viele Familien mit Kindern dort.

Absolutely stunning property. Amazing upgrade for us to their beautiful villa with incredible views of the sea. Delicious dining options and breakfast. Excellent cleanliness of resort and rooms daily and amazing service from start to finish. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

I absolutely loved this property. Dinner at Cretamos was exquisite! The food and service was beyond perfection. The food in the main dining area was amazing as well. The service was excellent. If I’m am ever back in Crete, this is where I would stay again.

Amazing resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Pools were great and well maintained and the water slides kept my 11 year old, and me, entertained as did the Tennis courts. Very relaxing and fantastic sunset views. Limited things to do in the immediate vicinty and the buffet food could have been better. Otherwise really enjoyed the stay and made full use of the spa.

What a fantastic vacation spot! Pick this if you are interested in a relaxing time with friends and family! Away from everything, but good bit of activities on property and excellent food! Overall the rooms are just perfect!!

We loved this hotel! We chose this hotel because of location, a little secluded but 20 minutes from Rethymno. It was nice to have the seclusion and quiet feel since we were on our honeymoon. Staff was wonderful, accommodations were wonderful. They sent us a bottle of champagne when they found out we were on our honeymoon. Only complaint was that our shower kept getting flooded and there was a drainage smell, but staff fixed it right away. Also, our pool light in our room was not getting fixed. The night staff didn't know too much about technical support, so we would have to wait until morning for things to get fixed. Absolutely loved our room setup, and how the bed was faced towards the window.

Amazing resort. This is one nicest and best run hotels in all of Greece. They do an excellent job of ensuring you are relaxing during your holiday. The adults only section of this hotel is amazing!

It was ok. Definitely not a 5 star!
