Great place to stay, food excellent and staff very good.

I found the stairs difficult but,I should have asked for a room suitable for a disabled person.

No heating in the bathroom

The hotel on arrival looked run down. The bedroom was ok. Bedding was clean. Shower and windows had black mould. And plug in hand basin could have been cleaner. One member is staff (dark hair and glasses) was friendly and helpful. Dinner was awful. Being on the coast I ordered fish & chips. When it arrived the batter was very dark making me wonder was the oil dirty or was it over cooked. However when I cut into it the batter was so thick and uncooked that I had to send it back. The second attempt didn’t look much better and it wasn’t. I scrapped the batter off and attempted the fish which was tasteless. Breakfast was ok although quite greasy.

Expensive for a property of this quality. The single room has an en-suite with a bizarre design, the toilet positioned directly in front of the sink so that it is impossible to stand at it. Overall, an adequate hotel that is more expensive than it should be.

Very nice stay at Golspie Inn, very friendly staff, breakfast was very good. Very clean! There was no elevator.

Hotel is very “tired”. Marks on wall where bedheads had been rubbing on wall. Wallpaper peeling under window and cobwebs in the shower. Also a pile of dirty towels left on the floor on arrival. On the up side the food was excellent. Light on stairwell not working and cracked window panes on single glazing windows. Hotel needs a lot of work and would NOT stay again

Quantity over quality of food and warm wine.

Rather shabby smell of smoke as entered hotel.Basic facilities no shelve in shower for soap etc.Poor mattress on both beds …hammock like in firmness. No chair in room or luggage rack. Room not 100% clean.

Very convenient location. Staff very helpful. Could do with more staff at peak meal times.

The staff at Golspie Inn are so very friendly and helpful! It's in a great location for visiting Dun Robin Castle.

Ideal location for the NC500. Nice clean and pleasantly decorated rooms. Good food and friendly staff.

Hotel is well placed on NC500. Spent 2 nights here. Like several other hotels used this showed evidence of recent upgrading and decoration. Food was good and staff friendly. The room was a good size although the en-suite was rather tight for space. No luggage stands provided in room so other furniture was used. EV charging available a short distance away in town car park.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Warm welcome when we arrived. Good was very good for evening meal and breakfast.

A great stay - service, food and comfort all ace.

Petit hôtel tres agréable tres agréable en tout point, si ce n'est, comme beaucoup, le manque d'ascenseur!mais ce manque fait partie de leur charme.

Easy parking, quiet and clean

Room and bathroom were very small, the old windows were not to open, the bedroom was to the main road and pretty noisy, the towel warmer worked but the radiator in the bedroom stayed cold and made the room uncomfortable. We had a small dinner which was good and the breakfast with the usual choices.
