We enjoyed the stay

Excellent staff, beautiful hotel, great breakfast. Will stay again

Pleasant 4 nights trip to Romainia. A little disappointed that the pool/spa/sauna were closed for refurbishment! However, the hotel was close to the Old Town, shops, restaurants and metro/buses for convenience travel around the city and further a field.

Perfect location old but great hotel.

L’Hotel è sicuramente in una posizione ottimale per visitare il centro di Bucharest. Gentilezza ed educazione alla reception. Un bel bar e credo (ma noi non ci siamo stati) un servizio lounge bar con vista sulla città. Arredamento delle camere un po’ old fashion .possibilita di fare il caffè in camera, acqua e frutta di benvenuto. La Pulizia può essere migliorata, abbiamo soggiornato due notti ma non hanno rifatto la stanza. Le signore addette alla pulizia hanno detto che sarebbero ripassate visto che volevano farlo in un momento in cui noi stavamo facendo una pausa, ma non si sono più viste. Peccato!

Check-in was excellent and fast and they even upgraded our room. Comfortable bed and nice bedding, open balcony. The hotel is in a great location and very central, close to the old town and close to the metro. The room is mostly comfortable but the bathtub is very high and difficult to get into. Even though we are a couple, for 3 nights they left us only one towel and on the fourth night they left no towels at all, every night I called the lobby to get more towels and it was very annoying. The heating didn't work even though it was 6 degrees outside because the hotel switched to summer mode - the room was freezing.

This is not a 5* hotel. I had very bad experience with the hotel tech. The WiFi in my room was not working. It took me 4-5 times throughout the day to complain about this. The staff said eventually it’s my fault. Only then to find out that the router installed in my room was broken and needed to be replaced. I was not offered any apologies or compensation for my misery. Furthermore, the rooms are totally outdated. They are clean and well-maintained. But very old and not good for modern business travelers. In the bathroom is only a bathtub to shower. And the shower head did not work. The trash bin in the bathroom has an open wire sticking out and you can hurt your toes. The gym and sauna were closed for renovation and I was not informed of that beforehand - no information of that sort anywhere: to the contrary - the websites states how nice these facilities are. In the public areas there is a really oppressive smell of room deodorants - like the plan is to cover some bad smells. The whole building and access to rooms is not secured. In the elevator I was hackled by two prostitutes. The staff was nice - but eventually not helpful. My decision: never again this hotel.

Purtroppo necesdita veramente la ristrutturazione del bagno. Abbiamo trovato la vasca che perdeva ed ho dovuto mettere gli asciugamani a rerra. Nessuno oarla l'italiano e io che mastico poco linglese per farmi capire è stata un impresa. La colazione niente di che rispetto ai nostri alberghi. Foto dello chef che ti fa la colazione ... tutta scena c'è un ragazzo bengalese che ti frigge le uova. 4 stelle oer la posizione ottima x muoversi dappertutto

Overall a disappointing experience, no way near a 5-star level as proclaimed. The hotel is in need of a renovation to bring it into the 21st century, once so grand but unfortunately it no longer lives up to its potential. Location is good though and the view spectacular.

It was amazing, the room was quite and clean. The house keeping was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful, we got the room very quickly and it was as described in the order.

Natürlich hat das Haus aus der kommunistischen Zeit als Intercontinental viel bessere Zeiten gesehen. Es ist irgendwann stehen geblieben und nicht weiter entwickelt worden. Hat aber den Charme des Überkommenen und ist gut geführt. Wenn der Tarif deutlich unter dem anderer fünf Sterne Hotels liegt, ist es sehr zu empfehlen.

Great location, walkable to old town. Friendly service and staff. Breakfast is decent too

It is already that i stay at the hotel. Good location, nearby restaurant. Nice view over the city and very friendly staff....rich breakfast buffet.

Prompt assistance.when requested. Beds super comfortable with hiigh quality bedding. Witr return and recommend!

Lovely hotel. And very friendly attentive staff. Comfy and clean, and absolutely nothing to improve on my side. My only “complaint” was that I arrived very late, was jet lagged and hungry, checked into my room, and read the folder provided that said room service as available 24/7, so had a shower, washed my hair first before ordering. Picked up the phone to order around 23:20 to be told it’s no longer available and I would need to use an app such as bolt food to order. This was a little frustrating to me as otherwise I would have ordered earlier. So they should update their folders in the rooms. But other than that? It was a lovely stay!

Great staff, Emma at reception was really good. Had issues with the room we were in and they changed it asap. Issues were AC not working in the room, jacuzzi not in order, steam room not in order. Breakfast was very good and rest of staff helpful.
