Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel

Room was nice. Lovely tea and coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar/Restaurant a stand out. Lovely big log burner and the food was top class and service was excellent, while reasonably priced. Taps were a bit wobbly and leaky in the en-suite and the shower head had some blocked nozzles and inconsistent pressure. This is the only small thing I could fault. It didn’t take away from the whole experience which was great - would reccomend staying here.

Stayed in the Hadrian Suite which is a beautifully designed space, very impressive. Very warm welcome and friendly service throughout. Comfortable bar area downstairs with great dining options. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc.

Pleasant and accommodating staff. Clean well appointed room Easy to find and great overnight location with good food, reasonably priced on site.

Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. Again Excellent.Staff were friendly especially the breakfast lady.Full of smiles in the morning. Would definitely stay again

Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough to help us. Room was stunning as was the restaurant. Room was clean and well equipped.

We stayed at the Greenhead as part of our Hadrians Wall walk. Could not have found a better hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Dan the lovely bartender.

What a wonderful find! Room was lovely, clean and comfortable, little touches around the room just made a white room come alive. All the team we encountered were great, food was excellent and service really fast. Beautiful location and will be booking to come back again

Just a terrific stay! Bar and restaurant were nice and staff were exceptional, especially Charlotte! Room was nice and bathroom was beautiful. Backed onto an old church and cemetery.

Fantastic place, well located near Hadrians Wall, with wonderful staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Really excellent evening meal with local beers on draught. List of local ingredients. The breakfast choice was great from berry compote to full Northumberland breakfast!

We stayed in the family room which was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely meal downstairs in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was available at 7am which was perfect for us as we were intending to head out for an early hike. The location was also great for our hike and to the sites of Hadrian’s Wall.

Really lovely place to stay. Great room, good food ( plenty of vegetarian options), and staff were really friendly and helpful.
