Booking with Sonder was the worst experience! There is no one physically at the location who works for Sonder, you have to call them over the phone and check in is through the phone as well. It took almost 2 hours to check in because the system they use to scan your ID was having issues reading the ID, which is terrible because why not allow the front desk clerk check ID like any other hotel. Then after taking 2 hours to check in when I got to the door of my suite, the code they gave me didn’t open the door, so I had to call and sit on hold for another 30 minutes! The condition of the suite wasn’t that bad but don’t expect any cookware in the FULL kitchen. Why have a stove top oven but no pans to cook in? I then asked to be accommodated on my last day by requesting a late check out and was told it wasn’t possible to approve. I’ve stayed in many hotels and never had an experience like this, it was unbelievable.
