It was clean, quiet, close to food with a pleasent beach walk just yds from a pleasent ocean beach walk

Just a beautiful place. Great view of the ocean. Would be a wonderful experience for children as their is an extensive playground within walking distance.

Everything was great. The reception staff was really sweet and professional.

Well renovated and modernized, but structure still feels weak. Walking around felt like I was a giant shaking the floors, would hear banging from jsut normal activities from neighbours too. Cleanliness was decent, the counter want fully wiped when we arrived, had precious guests toothpast drips still around. Other that those, it was a pretty decent stay, perfect for resting for the night through long drives

Beautiful building, room and view! Clean and inviting with great staff. Right on the beach with unobstructed 180° ocean view. Walking distance to multiple restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Edge Beachside Hotel in Parksville. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach with beautiful ocean views and easy access to the shoreline. It’s the kind of place where you can wake up, grab a coffee, and walk straight out to the sand. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the atmosphere around the property is very relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Parksville is such a great area to visit, and staying right on the water made the experience even better. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beachfront getaway on Vancouver Island.

Front Desk staff were wonderful and very helpful, the location is quite ideal, and we enjoyed our stay. That said: With a partially-obstructed view, our room had a warped door, a wonky microwave, a cracked range, peeling wallpaper, and a rather long crack in our wall; it would also have been nice to have dishes and cutlery that were not from the ‘60s. Basically, the property is showing its age and needs an overhaul.

Amazing beach house

We had an expansive ocean view with patio door access.

This is the second stay for us. The place has been renovated and it looks much better. We were in a kitchen suite which was great but we did have to ask for a couple things ( toaster, frying pan) which were brought to us no problem. It’s right on the beach, so always a great view. We would stay there again if back in Parksville.
