Terrible check-in. Rooms were small, no extra bedding, difficult to obtain any accommodations due to no staff

Nothing like the description says my room was absolutely messy and I had to go purchase my own cleaning products to clean the room. Before my stay even started, the staff has been incredibly rude and the miscommunication was very frustrating for two weeks straight.. the bathroom had pee all around the toilet and yellow stains on the walls. The shower was absolutely disgusting. The fridge had leftover food in it. Wi-Fi didn’t work. When I first came to check in my access code did not work and let me into the building and I stood there with maybe three other females and their codes also we’re not working. It was raining and the staff watched us for about 10 to 15 minutes before even opening the door for us and then on top of that watched as I struggled to carry in my bags when a man clearly could’ve helped me pull my stuff over the threshold. It was just very inconvenient very rude very nasty. The verbiage Between the front desk woman and I she was very careless, very rude and did not seem as though she wanted to help, even after I paid and spent extra money here, I will not be booking again and I’m sad that I wasted my money.

Very pleasant stay -- checkin was all via email/app, so very little communication with onsite staff. Lamp in bedroom did not work

I really liked this place a lot ! Big spacious flat with a nice kitchen and a separate bedroom ! Nice people in reception and great location ! Will stay here next time !

Clean & safe

Large & comfortable suite, located close to all the action & Resturants - cleaning services not provided was a issue for 5days but stocks of fresh towels etc were available

Great location, very comfortable units, kitchen, bathroom and living room spacious and comfortable. Building looks nice. Very close to all amenities in the downtown area.

Very clean, had everything I needed!

Excellent location with a really good kitchen plus washer and dryer both of which came with washing up liquid/laundry detergent. There was also a living room area with a sofa to sit in the evening if not going out which makes a change from sitting on the bed to watch TV. Added to this there is are left luggage lickers on 4 floors so if you've arrived in Philadelphia long before check-in but left after check out, you can leave your luggage and collect it again at you're own leisure without having to wait for someone to get it for you.

We love the Sonder chain and thi was no exception, except for one small but very pervasive problem: it was SO LOUD. Aside from the fact that the air conditioning sounded like a jet plane taking off every time it cycled on, the rooms have no protection from the street noise and on the weekends this neighborhood is loud. I can’t fault the hotel for that, but be aware of the challenge if you chose to stay in this neighborhood. Otherwise the Sonder continues to be a great choice for clean, spacious functional rooms.

The location is quite good for food and walking around to City hall. But it was very noisy with "live band" almost every night from 11pm to 2am. There were also noisy cars and horn honking in the middle of the night until early morning.

I had a business conference in the city and the Witherspoon provided a great option. It was good value with a spacious and clean room. Lots of options to eat in the area, including the reading terminal market. Appreciated the luggage storage option, which I used before checking in and after check out. It’s my first time staying with Sonder and I found their app very easy to use and informative.

The building exterior is beautiful, clean. Once in the Sonder, the lobby area is bright and very nice. On the 5th floor, there were renovations in progress for improvements in the hallway, so not giving an evaluation here. Our room was clean, a nice size, very comfortable for our overnight stay. The Sonder is convenient to Jefferson Hospital, a couple block walk. I would stay again if I need to be in the city for a couple days.

Great for any events in the stadium areas. Nice part of center city where there's always something open to grab a bite to eat. I will definitely be staying again

Family friendly, although I was by myself. I like that I could cook. The washer and dryer is appreciated.

Love having someone at the front desk.
