Reservamos este hotel a través de Expedia esperando una experiencia acorde a lo ofrecido, pero la estadía ha estado marcada por una gestión deficiente. En la primera noche, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba. Aunque lo reportamos de inmediato, se brindó información incorrecta y la solución tomó cerca de dos horas, tiempo en el que permanecimos en una habitación sin ventilación adecuada. La segunda noche fue aún peor: el hotel se quedó sin electricidad desde las 6:00 p.m. hasta pasada la 4:00 a.m. Entendemos que esto puede estar fuera del control del hotel, pero no así la falta de preparación. No hubo agua (todo depende de bombas eléctricas), ni comunicación proactiva, ni soluciones básicas como agua o iluminación. El calor fue tal que tuvimos que salir de la habitación y pasar la noche en las sillas de la piscina para poder descansar mínimamente. Como resultado, la noche se perdió y el día siguiente se vio afectado por el cansancio. Más allá de los incidentes, lo preocupante es la ausencia de un plan de contingencia y la falta de gestión en momentos críticos. El servicio se mide cuando algo falla, y en este caso, la respuesta no estuvo a la altura.

Good service at restaurant, staff, room cleaning.

Nice hotel, beautiful windy beach, spacious clean rooms. Only downside is no hot tub, and no hot water on our second day.

Hotel is past its prime and in need of some maintenance. Expensive for what it is. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach at the hotel is not for swimming but many very nice and secluded beaches are less than 20mins by car.

Please know that the beach Nandel faces is a kite surfing training area for some of the world elites. It is windy, most of the time. This keeps it cool and nice to sit at the beach and at the pool, no bugs. Tie your hat on... it is very windy.

This was a great resort for the price. Felipe at breakfast was the best, along with everyone else. The breakfast was by far our favorite meal of the day!! Definitely try out the Naked Indian nextdoor. It was the best dinner we had in this part of town. The hotel's beach is made for kite surfing but we enjoyed walking down towards the groves and seeing all the different birds. Our favorite beach was Playa Rajadita and El Jobo. None of the beaches are very busy except for the weekends when the locals enjoy them. The water was a bit chilly but snorkeling everywhere was a delight! Lots to see. The rooms are very large but I wish they had any kind of fridge.... You can get ice for your water at breakfast. The pool was nice, also a bit chilly! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go again! Look for the monkeys! They are in the trees on the dirt road to the hotel and all over if you look for them!

If you are expecting the wind, then it’s a great resort! I should have realized that it would’ve windy with all the windsurfing in the area. Once we got used to that, we did really enjoy the place. Quite quiet. Our favorite parts of the area were all the beaches in the other side of the peninsula and some of the fantastic dining. Lapa Lapa had a great atmosphere, fantastic food, and some nice beach chairs. ‘The naked Indian restaurant just next to the resort had unbelievable food.

The resort was great but the winds where very strong.

Clean room. Lovely resort to walk around and nicely lit paths to walk around resort at night. Nice free breakfast menu ( the French Toast was delicious). Good access to beach. Would be better if lighting in the room was brighter.

Quiet resort on the bay. Beautiful nearby beach (bahia rajada). Very good food. Pleasant waiters. A la carte breakfast is nice but repetitive and buffet breakfast on weekend is adequate. Rooms: clean but somber. Bed and AC are good. Limited hot water. The highlight here is the kite surfing and no crowds.

yes. staff warm,room clean, nice grounds. I would have given five stars except for one big problem. The safe in our room was locked and the office could not unlock it. This could be a serious problem for guests needing security.

When we came they asked us to pay more for 2 extra people even though online versions of same booking showed same price. Toilets were clogged Water sink clogged Bed bugs exist I asked to do something about it they brought new sheets was good, I asked for manager they never called one. Asked for medicine to treat the bites nothing happened. I will be filing an insurance claim as I would expect for this price after one night there I don’t have my body scratching all over from the bed bugs.
