Rating & Review Keseluruhan Northland Motel

I had a basement room in the back of the building. I liked how they had picnic tables and butt cans for smokers. The rooms were nice I didn't feel like I was in a basement, beds/blankets/pullows were very comfortable. I do wish there was a coffe pot in the room but that was minor as tims and mcDs were close by. Also they were able to accommodate all our rooms together. Altho they were not pet friendly I would still def recommend this place for a place to stay.

I have come to Northland for 3 years as a pit stop for business. The effort the owners have put in is so impressive. Thus is not a dive. Compare this to the motel with a 6 in its name.... night and day. I have stayed here at least 20 times over 3 years and have seen the live.. the growth, investment and pains. A top notch family business.

Conveniently located for catching train in the am in Cartier…

We stayed in a basement room that was very unique and nice. The property overall was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Northland recently had new owners take over and they are lovely people the rooms all look really nice and updated. Was a great place to stay while visiting family we'll probably stay again in the future

The renovations and upgrades have been what makes it nice to return to.

First off, the staff were very nice and we were met promptly upon entering the motel. We opted for a basement room, and maybe that it is why it is in the condition it is in. The paint was peeling off the walls, there were multiple holes, disturbances in the walls and the room smelled strongly of javex. There appeared to be dripping marks down the walls behind our end tables. There was a water bottle under the end table, maybe it got missed. It would have been nice to have shampoo/conditioner in the shower, however recognize not all places offer this kind of service. The drain in the bathroom sink filled up after turning on tap to brush teeth, so the drain is very clearly clogged. Probably would not stay again based on the experience in the basement room.

I’m glad they had an oscillating fan in the room. I use it every night to help me sleep.

They didn’t let us stay there as I had a small service dog! Said no dogs aloud then said oh all the rooms are taken for service dogs! So we couldn’t stay there where we got in at night then had to go back 20 min for an other hotel bc they denied us with a service dog! This isn’t right at all!!! So no not a good stay bc we didn’t stay there!!!! The service is terrible!!!!

Great people. Clean space. Super comfy bed. Not a super fancy place but if you’re looking for a great place to curl up in a clean motel for a great price, can’t beat it. Customer service was great too. Thanks!

We just used the room to sleep as we were hunting in the area but it was clean and warm. They have done some renovations and especially foe the money it was perfect for us

Was pleasantly surprised! The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had at a hotel/motel. The gentleman that checked us in was amazing! The renovations are really upgrading this small town motel! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is being upgraded and the new room was huge, very comfortable and clean. Great for families as room included 2 queen beds, a couch, and 2 chairs with plenty of open floor space for children to play.
