Rating & Review Keseluruhan Casona del Conquistador

Our stay at Casona del Conquistador was horrible. We were assigned Room 5202, which turned out to be severely infested with cockroaches. They were in the bathroom, on the curtains, inside the bed, and even in made their way into our personal belongings. The level of filth and neglect we encountered was shocking and completely unacceptable for this hotel. We reported the issue immediately and provided video evidence. At first, the hotel acknowledged the problem and said they would follow up, but we never heard back again. Despite multiple attempts to reach them over the following months, there was no response or resolution offered. We didn’t spend time in the hotel until the last night and that is when we noticed the infestation around us. We spent the final night in the room discovering roaches crawling through our clothes, our belongings, and even hiding in a passport holder by the time we reached the airport. We were forced to disinfect everything and dispose of several items after the trip. It was a disgusting and unhygienic experience that should never happen.

Olía a perro muerto a la vecindad, yo pediría un reembolso y una invitación para cuando esté limpio y me den la habitación correcta,. Aquella vez elegí una propiedad en expedia de una habitación grande y me dieron una pequeña... Llamé y no resolvieron. El olor, un desastre.

En verdad fue super, la chica que estaba a cargo de la limpieza, como el host, eran muy atentos y todo estaba bien limpio, fue agradable.

The property is so lovely, colonial architecture, safe and quiet, everything is close, bus stop, telares comercial center, gas station, and Antigua by bus is around 10 min by bus and 30 min walking, the place have kitchen so you can cook if you want and they’ve two parking spaces… recommended

A very nice and quiet place, the rooms and general areas are clean, there is a living room, dining room and kitchen if you bring things to prepare food, parking inside and outside the place in a safe area. The stay was very good

Space very tight smell like bleach not what i spected

O atendimento sou muito bom, a residência é quase toda bem estruturada, com cozinha compartilhada mas bem equipada. Porém, ficamos em dois quartos diferentes, pois tivemos duas hospedagens diferentes e nas duas os quartos não tinham uma cortina mediamente razoável. Alem disso, os chuveiros são péssimos. Ou seja, são coisas baratas que podem resolver todo o problema e receber excelentes indicações. Enfim, farei uma avaliação 5, mas se a nota dependesse destes dois itens daria menos 1000. No mais, obrigado por todas as contribuições que fizeram por nós.

Just a bit nervous with contactless check in. Everything else is beyond my expectation. The room is super big and beautiful for us. Love the balcony, the kitchen and the garden. Very clean. It is 23 mins walk from Antigua, but that is what I want. This area really convenient to walk around for restaurants, coffee, gas station, supermarket....Definitely recommended to everyone.

One of the rooms was very small compared to the other. My toilet was broken. It would not stop running after flushing unless you reached into the back tank to fix the flap every time. Asked to have it fixed on day one. Not fix on our 4 nights here.

This message is for the owner of this property. While this house is beautiful and cleanly kept, the person in charge of bookings and customer service is the reason why I rated them with 1 star. They truly deserve 0 stars. They do not care about making guests check-in process smooth nor pleasant. They don't answer phone calls and they leave guests waiting outside the property for hours as a result of their lack of communication. They overbooked the room that I paid for and when I challenged them, they admitted their mistake but chose not to fix the problem. There's no good water pressure in room 102. Your property is too beautiful to be left in the hands of incapable, uncaring, and mediocre management. I will NOT book a stay here ever again and I will make sure that my friends and family know how poorly this property is run.

Muy cómoda, cumple con lo que ofrecen

Voy a empezar por los aspectos positivos: 1. casa perfecta para una familia grande, 2. camas y almohadas cómodas, 3. baños privados en todos los cuartos, 4. dispensador de shampoo en baños. Ahora los aspectos negativos: 1. las instrucciones que dan de bienvenida no están actualizadas (clave self check-in, contraseña wifi, indica que el desayuno está incluido y no lo incluyen), 2. el inodoro del baño para los cuartos compartidos no tenia el asiento (tabla), esto es esencial!!! lo reportamos sin ninguna solución, luego una de las empleadas nos dijo que ya lo han reportado en varias ocasiones a los dueños pero que no hay repuesto, 3. la ducha de ese mismo baño no tenía agua caliente, 4. la luz del comedor no funcionó, lo reportamos y nos dijeron que por ser fin de semana no había quién la cambiara el foco, por lo que no pudimos usar el comedor y tuvimos que improvisar en la cocina para poder comer, 5. el jardín trasero parece jungla, no le han dado mantenimiento a cortar la grama y una de las plantas creció tanto que se desplomó, 6. el jardín del frente de la casa también le falta mantenimiento, es una lástima, ya que el jardín es muy bonito, 7. las empleadas llegan en la mañana supuestamente a hacer la limpieza (camas y baños), pero no son proactivas, les tuvimos que indicar por favor que nos sacaran la basura de los baños.
