Rating & Review Keseluruhan Old San Juan Rentals

My room had a lot cockroaches especially inside the couch and under the sink. I’ve called the front desk and they ingnored me, all of us 4 people had to sleep in same bed due were not able to sleep in the sofa bed.

Nice stay and amenities. Location was great too. Two concerns: air conditioning in the living room didn’t cool well and the air conditioning in the master bedroom was really noisy as if it were about to go out. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and appliances (big and small). Showers were spacious (water was lukewarm) Beds were on slacks so be cautious when sitting on the bed. They were comfortable. Tv had multiple channels and apps. Grateful that the access to the upper rooms had an elevator as opposed to some places nearby that only had stairs. Check-in and check out were seamless. The hosts responded to questions promptly via call or email. Was a good stay with minor issues. I would stay here again.

Very nice property. Easily walkable to restaurants and coffee shops and sightseeing. The property is located a block from the governor’s mansion. There are police guards literally right outside your door around the clock, so it is extremely safe. The parking lot is located about a 10 minute walk away. It was surprisingly very reasonably priced. The property is right downtown, so the noise from the street can be loud if your bedroom is right at the balcony. Was not much of an issue. Slept very well. Very clean property. Located right above a delicious gelato shop. Definitely try it. :) The owners always responded quickly. Would rent again for sure.

Comfortable stay helpful check in instructions

We have stayed in Puerto Rico multiple times, but this was one of our favorite places so far. The location is absolutely perfect for walking around Old San Juan, eating, and parking our rental car. The parking garage is a couple hundred feet down the hill and my favorite pizza restaurant is a couple hundred feet up the hill. The apartment is very spacious and having a washer and dryer is so helpful since we swim so often. Even though we didn’t use the kitchen much, it’s so nice to have. This apartment even had a small outdoor space attached. The furniture is not in perfect condition (one chair had a bent leg, the couch had a couple holes, amd some chairs had wear) but everything else was so perfect that it didn’t matter. We would absolutely stay in this apartment again and we would one hundred perfect recommend it.

They had construction the whole time we was there. Every morning a 7am wake up call by tools. No one warned us of anything other than that everything was walking distance and there was a lot of space in the apt.

The location was great, right in the heart of Old San Juan. A few of things stood out as detractors. The bathroom had no counter and no place to hang towels. It was inconvenient to use due to this basic lack. There are a couple of long term drips in the bathroom ceiling, and one of them was right where it dripped on you as you were using the toilet. The furniture overall was is a little disrepair. The chrome was deteriorated and the veneer peeling. But the Big hassle was that the property required a picture of your credit card prior to arrival. Feels like a huge unnecessary security risk.

Location was quiet, well lit and felt safe. Inside was clean and well furnished. The AC unit in the room was not cooling the first night we were there. Once I messaged the property manager their response was prompt & they repaired it quickly. Only downside was no elevator for those staying on the top floors & having to park far but you are made aware of this way ahead of time so read all the info sent to you when you make your reservation. No complaints from me, the place was amazing & the price was better than expected for the location.

The unit that we stayed in was on the 4th floor with absolutely beautiful views of ocean, the city and the Governor’s mansion! That being said, it was on the fourth floor with no elevator, so pack lightly ~ we didn’t. Wonderful stay with a workout!

Great location close to everything we wanted to see in old San Juan. Very nice spacious apartment! A bit noisy at night from the street but didn't bother us much.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. Immediately upon entering, it was a strong smell of mold. The bathroom doorknob was broken and kept falling off. I reported this to the property via text. The same bathroom had a broken exhaust fan. The water pressure was so terrible we needed to wash our hair in the kitchen sink. Several ceilings had black mold on them. The second bedroom ceiling fan was broken so they had a standing fan in the room, which was fine. The smoke shop across the street was so loud with their music that we could not hear each other talking, we needed to yell to communicate. The smoke shop is open from mid morning 9am or 10am until around 10pm. That's a long time to not have a moment of peace especially with small children. The tv was broken, however I believe it was only the remote. After changing the batteries ourselves it still wouldn't work properly. Day 2 the island wide power outage occurred. This property does not supply a generator and their communication was hours after the black out and only after I inquired. Not to their fault, but the diesel fumes from other's generators were so strong we couldn't even have the windows open. The mold and the thick air caused my youngest to have an asthma attack. I would return to Old San Juan in a heart beat, but would never stay at these rentals again. However beautiful the building was, this company does not seem to keep up with their properties.

Great Location if you want to be in the mix of things, down the street from bars, shopping, eating, sight seeing, bring ear plugs for late night strolls from bar goers and traffic. Loved it.

Liked the area. Very central to everything however it was pretty noisy and a bit hard to find. Facility had a nice PR feel. Staff was very helpful with information and recommendations and attentive to any issues.

The original unit we were booked into was very tiny, bar fridge and bathroom sink in kitchenette, shower slope to far corner of bathroom so floor soaked after taking a shower. Unable to flush toilet paper due to old plumbing!!!! Pictures online looked better than real life. Very steep stairs to walk up. Beds were comfortable. The power in our building went out and our unit had no windows, pitch black with no air movement ( it was very hot/humid) loud sounds of ? Generators that sounded ready to explode at any minute. I contacted property management who brought flash lights and found us alternative accommodations 2 blocks down in a different rental unit that did have windows and power. Had to pack up in the dark and very early morning to move, with very little sleep, and very very hot/sweaty. We ended up having to cancel our car rental as originally planned for the day because of no sleep and “lost” a day of our vacation.
