Rating & Review Keseluruhan NYX Esperia Palace Hotel Athens

Property focuses heavily on being hip and style . Hotel Overlooks practical sensible hotel designs . I cannot stress this enough. This hotel has a serious noise intrusion issue . The halls have no dampening features and the doors are very sound permeable . ( you can hear people talking and making love from your bed … not fun at 1am ) . Not suggested for sensitive sleepers .

Het personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Kamer was erg klein voor een suite. Perfecte ligging. Ik was jarig en er stond een taart van het hotel. Een geweldige verrassing!! Service!

Hotellet er beliggende i centrum med gåafstand til de fleste ting. Værelset er fint. Vi boede på 8. Etage med flot udsigt til Akropolis. Poolen er kun åbent halvdelen af året. Så den var tom og området lukket, da vi var på hotellet. Det mener jeg burde fremgå tydeligere, da det var et tilvalg for os og hotellets cover foto. Poolen på taget og i kælderen er kun 0,85 m dyb. Så ikke til at svømme i. Vores værelse havde adgang til club lounge, hvilket viste sig at være endnu en restaurant, hvor man kun kunne opholde sig, hvis man købte mad og drikke. Der er derfor ingen fælles uderum, hvor man kan nyde solen. Kun restauranter. Her koster en kop kaffe f.eks 8 euro. Der er en del larm fra vejen (3 sporet foran hotellet) på den lille private altan. (Overdækket). Der er om aftenen en del støj fra musikken i restauranten over. Der er club fest om aftenen. Vi boede der 4 dage.

Great location and beautifully decorated. Amazing rooftop restaurant views of the Acropolis and great food.

Wonderful Stay!

The hotel was fine. A lovely high quality hotel. So why didn’t I love it? Cause it lacked a “Greek feel”. There was nothing to make me feel like I was in Greece. Even the water and milk for my coffee was Italian and german. So yes, the hotel was great, but not wow. Why does every hotel think copy and paste is good?

A nice hotel in a good location and friendly staff, I especially like the indoor pool and Sauna. However, I wasn't happy with the bathroom setup as there isn't much privacy due to their being no door to the bathroom. There is just a small door for the toilet but you could hear 'everything'.

The hotel is very modern and clean. The back ground noise is part of their vibe but gets on your nerves after a while. After 5 nights and 4 complaints we still did not get the air con fixed which lead to very hot temperatures at night. Difficult to understand as the staff were super efficient in all other areas.

Nicely refurbished hotel with a great vibe. Super noisy during the night in our suite on 9th floor. Had a hard time sleeping due to poor soundproofing. The hotel was without water for 1/2 day. Nice staff. Great breakfast buffet and business lounge. Small but well equiped spa.

Security followed my husband to the restroom assuming that my husband would skip out on the bill. However we were staying as a guest in the hotel with an open credit on file. He was absolutely out of line. Additionally we missed the breakfast time by 4 minutes and the hostess refused us to go in even for a cup of coffee. No courtesy whatsoever. So I will blog my review. Sorry
