What really surprised me was that a place called “Sleep Station” doesn’t even provide a proper blanket or comforter. All they offered were a bath towel and a thin sheet. I couldn’t sleep well because it was too cold, and I ended up having to buy a blanket from Target—only to throw it away later because it was too bulky for my luggage.
Other than that, the bathroom lights are too environmentally friendly. They automatically shut off after just one or two minutes, so I had to fumble around in the dark to turn them back on multiple times while showering. Toward the end of my stay, I just gave up and got used to showering in the dark.
That said, the place is clean, the staff is friendly, and I really appreciate that they enforce a quiet policy so everyone can get some rest.
