Wow. Just…wow! Beautiful building and interior, very clean rooms. Insanely great shower/tub/sauna bathroom. Spend the extra pittance for the sauna upgrade and thank me later. We arrived early, before the room was expected to be ready, but the front desk tagged and stored our luggage and delivered to the room once it was ready. Very convenient walking distance to Gion area temples and shrines. Easy access to other parts via the bus stop 100 ft away. 帰る方所ですね！

Very helpful staff. Great location with walking distance to most Gion attractions (Pontocho Alley, Hanamikoji street, Kiyomizu Dera temple). Nice modern and comfortable rooms. We had the sauna room which worked great. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great small hotel in the historic area of Gion. My room had a balcony and it was very spacious. The bathroom was great as well with a bathtub. Service was very good too.

The hotel is new and cleaned. Staff are well trained. They are always available to answer questions. Love the location of this hotel, it's walking distance to so many sights.

Met and exceeded expectations from the room to the staff to the location. I spent hours researching hotels in Kyoto trying to settle in on one and I'm so glad this was the location.

客室は過去一番に最高でした。スタッフの方々も丁寧でした。 ですが、残念ながら、過去最低な朝食でした。辛く煮詰まった味噌汁とパサパサになったご飯はちょっと悲しかったです。外国の方々が殆んどと言うことでしたが日本人にたいしてのおもてなしの朝食も用意して頂けたら嬉しいです。

In einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße, optimal an Busnetz angebunden (nur 2-5 Minuten zu gehen je nach gewünschter Linie). Personal war kulturell komplett divers, was wir sehr sehr schön fanden. Wir haben uns das Zimmer mit integrierter Sauna gegönnt. Gerade im Winter ein absoluter Luxus (Achtung: wenn Sie eher große Menschen sind, dann wird es in der Sauna eng). Frühstück hatten wir nur einmal, es war in Ordnung, aber wir haben oft ausgeschlafen oder waren schon früh unterwegs, sodass es gut war, dass wir es nicht automatisch dabei hatten und täglich spontan entscheiden konnten.

Room and hotel were spotless. Staff were attentive and helpful. All of the staff spoke English. Loved the free coffee machine and laundry! Would definitely stay here again!
