Rating & Review Keseluruhan Blue Water Beachfront Hotel & Waterpark

There is no current gym or water park on site. Without these items, I think the hotel was overpriced. Room service did not come daily. The gym I was sent to use at the Clarion didn’t have very good equipment. Disappointed for the cost.

1st check in was very slow one girl was checking in another couple and the bigger girl was to busy to stop what she was doing to help out and was very rude. 2: the bigger girl said the pool was closed due to a call off and she was not going to walk down to pool to check it out. She said we could walk to neighbor hotel and swim there. Smh. 3 the room next to us was smoking so much weed we could smell it all night. 4: the beds were awful. They were so hard felt like we were sleeping on cinder blocks with 2x6 wood overtop.

My room was not clean and never got clean for the 4 days that I stayed. The room had bugs in it and we booked a room off the water and was told that they don’t even have rooms off the water. The room overall was nasty and had to be cleaned by me because I brought my own cleaning supplies.

The room was really nice along with the beach view. Plugs were very loose.

The staff was amazing especially front desk and housekeeping.

When we booked on Hotels.com, the room looked nice and clean but when we went there it was a completely different experience. The bathroom floor was damp, did not have enough towels and all the bathroom fixtures were old. The hallway leading to the room had a damp smell. The beds were old and my kid even found some sand on the bed. The only compliment I can give is that the room had a beautiful view of Lake Huron but that did not make up for the other deficiencies. One other thing - we were troubled by a lot of bugs, we thought they were mosquitoes but they were water bugs. This looked more like a cheap motel rather than a hotel.

i loved talking to trish in the lobby everyday! she's such a positive and happy person to encounter each and every day. wish the pool and the ice machine had been working. things happen and it didn't deter from the great time i had.

The pool and water splash was under construction. Made my kids very disappointed. The room didn't have much outlet for charging phone.

The shower didn’t work real well.

We loved that we were on the shores of Lake Huron. The view was lovely and we were able to catch a sunrise that was beautiful. The hotel seems to be under new ownership and rooms are being renovated. When we arrived we were told that the pool/water park had been damaged in a recent ice storm. We were glad we didn't have any children with us that would have been disappointed. Also, the ice machines weren't working but we were told we could use the ice machines next door (at a different hotel). We stayed two nights but there was no housekeeping services. A little TLC would have removed some of the sand that was on the plank floors.

This wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed at but it definitely needs some work!! If we hadn't been paying lower off season rates we probably would have requested a refund and found other lodging. They are in the process of renovations which I understand. But the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, the patio doors were filthy, the shower head had very little pressure and then proceeded to leak when we tried to adjust the spray option, the outlets are so loose that our phone chargers kept just falling out and there wasn't even a t.p. roll holder, it had to sit on the bathroom sink. Trish at the desk was friendly, we had no issues with check in, we had plenty of towels and the view of the water was great. We were only in our room to sleep so we didn't go through the hassle of requesting a different room. With so many other options in the area they really need to renovate their rooms in order to stay competitive.

Office isn’t even on location, terrible directions.

It is good, but it has openings for the next room and they out door to close it from both side's of the rooms which i don't like.
