Only let down was the pillows need more filling

Everything was fab… From reception staff to breakfast staff. Room was really comfortable with a great en-suite. Pre-ordering breakfast was a bonus.

Everything about our stay was excellent. We can't wait to come back for another relaxing weekend trip and delicious Sunday Roast. Thank you so much for having us!

Good amount of free parking, the room and bathroom were a decent size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The shower was nice and powerful. The pub/restaurant itself was decent with nice staff and food. The only point to note is to check times and book for food if needed as there is nothing really around this hotel and Sunday closes early.

Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. Luckily there were only 2 of us but we did want separate beds. Other than that, one of the most clean and well presented rooms I’ve seen. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is decorated really beautifully, the rooms were clean, the beds were really comfy, the breakfast was very tasty and the location is great (right by Garth pier and a short drive to Anglesey or Llandudno). We had a wonderful stay and would definitely visit again.

Clean and tidy, well presented room with all required amenities. A comfortable bed in a quiet area meant for a good night's sleep.

Peefect one night stay

Pros Lovely property in ideal location. Staff friendly, food was good, plenty of parking, good wifi speed, clean room. Cons Walls were really thin so could hear people snoring in next room and people when they were in the corridor. Bathroom had a musty smell

The slate is a lovely hotel ,cosy and comfortable .the reception is welcoming and clean and there's a lovely log burner in the bar that gives the plase an atmospheric smell. Evening meal was really good and good value for the home cooked food we enjoyed . Breakfast was really good and just started the day perfectly . We recommend to anyone and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Wales .

Great stay in North Wales. They have bar & restaurant. Boast the best Sunday roast.

Great location for the North Wales coast and Bangor. lovely walks nearby. Fantastic warm clean rooms and comfortable bed. Great Great food.

The welcome was great. The Hotel is well appointed and generally well maintained. The bar and restaurant served nice food and drink, the prices are in the high side, but in keeping with everywhere else. It is well frequented by the locals, but the atmosphere was mostly friendly. The major downside was the Hotel is right next to a busy railway line. Our room was overlooking the track and it was very noisy when a train went past, which it did several times in the night.

super clean and really comfortable room, staff were great as we were due to arrive late so ran us through the whole late check in process

Staff super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Had a very pleasant stay here and would happily stay again if in the area.
