First of all, the manager was very helpful - a nice guy from Egypt. So I want to make that clear - it's not his fault, or his wife or toddler who were in the lobby a lot while I waited 45 mins to check in.
But the rooms were just so bad. Stains on the floor, tiny 12" TV on the wall and so hot I had to sit there with no clothes on in order to tolerate it. Upon which one fo the staff walked into my room without knocking to ask if I had towls. Again, I was naked.
No, there were no towls and I had to dry myself with my own clothes.
I don't think they had a bar or any ammienties, it was more like a run down hostel with seperate bedrooms. I had the view of a skip with a filthy mattress in it, I kid you not.
It was so bad I checked out after a couple hours and booked a hotel further up the road which was much better. I didn't ask for my money back becuase I should have checked the reviews before. It's totally my fault for booking without doing so.
If you are a young couple on a really tight budget and don't mind being really hot and sleeping somewhere not very nice, this is a cheap option, but for everyone else I would look elsewhere. Honestly, I would say this is a 1 star hotel, and I'm rating 2 stars becuase the manager was nice.
Again, I just want to be clear the manager was really nice and looked crestfallen when I said he was checking out. He was a really nice guy and it's not his fault the hotel he works at is bad.
