Avoid this hotel if you're expecting basic amenities. Despite charging upwards of £200 per night, this hotel lacks essential furnishings such as a chair, table, wardrobe, hair dryer, and iron. The room includes only two beds, four bath towels, and one small towel—nothing more. There are additional charges for early check-in, late check-out, and even luggage storage. One major concern is the inconsistent fee waivers, which appear to be applied based on nationality or race. This is deeply troubling and reflects poorly on the management. The bathroom design is also impractical—no sliding doors mean water easily spills onto the floor, creating a mess. The only notable feature is its underground setting, which might appeal to some seeking a unique experience. Otherwise, it's hard to justify the cost or the lack of hospitality

The property unique and quite . There was no hairdryer or anything to use if you wanted a drink in the night

Felt very small and claustrophobic. Also found a bug in the bed In the morning so not good!

We arrived early so decided to go to drop the bags off at the hotel since we were too early for check in. We got told we were unable to check in early however the group of girls next to us just got checked in and let to their rooms. After asking if i could leave the bag at the hotel until we checked in I got told there was a £15 charge just to leave a bag in a room which i found completely ridiculous and if i knew this i probably would not have booked this hotel as it is an absolute scam and does not state this anywhere in the description. We came to check in and there was flies in my sink in the bathroom and on the roof so went up to reception and they did give me a different room no hassle but they did not seem bothered at all about it nor an apology. I work in a hotel and stayed in many and never once have i come across fees to leave your bag somewhere or the staff to seem so unbothered by a complaint. However the rooms are just as shown and bed is very comfortable. There is not much noise or bother when your in the room. There are plugs right above the bed which is very handy and a light switch. I would probably not stay here again just because of the reasons stated above and for £600 for 2 nights i would expect a little bit more friendliness and consideration when complaints are brought up.

Terrible design. The low, futon style bed was bad enough, but the lack of a chair or wardrobe of set of draws meant I had my bag on the floor with no where to put anything. Actually felt I was living on the floor. Bed never made - is this a Zedwell thing? Won’t be booking this property, or indeed, Zedwell hotels again.

Asked for extra pillows which never arrived. Aircon wasnt working properly so was a hot room with 4 of us in.

Such a convenient location close to subway

Impossible to contact anyone at this whole chain about lost property. No functioning phone line.

Had 2 rooms for 3 nights. One room the A/C didn’t work, and the other had bed bugs. I spoke to 3 different managers on duty and best they would do was put on clean sheets in one room and a fan in the other. Asked to at minimum comp my $40 for early check in that was charged, but nothing. Other than the location being great, nothing else is worth the stay. I’ve never left a negative review but felt this one was necessary to do.

Bortsett fra en super beliggenhet så er ikke dette hotellet noe vi ønsker å benytte igjen. Dårlig luft i gangene og mørke omgivelser nede i kjelleren. Rommet er greit nok lyst men det ikke noe å legge ting på eller en stol å sitte på. Bare madrasser. Madrassen sov vi derimot godt på. Glass skyvedør mellom bad og rom er ikke det aller beste når man deler rom med 2 andre. Personellet hentet heller ikke søppel eller ordna på rommet.

Had a 1 night stay with my wife, location is great for the theatres and shopping. The only thing I would complain about was that the beds are on the small size and I should have asked for extra pillows. Wouldn’t stay for more than 1 night… but for a place to sleep and that’s all, you could do a lot worse!

Water from the shower flooding the bath, very bad to get wet feet when using the toilet.

No Windows in room - no chair, no Tabel in room, no hangers, no cup in bathroom, no TV, beat and feel the Tube - GBP 200 Per Night……… not to be recommended

My daughter came in with serious jet lag and I kept misplacing my key card (or forgetting to bring the card when exiting my room😬). The staff members were gracious each time I went to get another key card. Polite and courteous behavior every time I interacted with them from the front desk to the cleaning crew. The price was also about 1/3 the amount compared to neighboring hotels. Lastly, how cool is it to be 5 stories underground

部屋は綺麗に掃除されていて、ベッドも水回りも清潔ではあったけれど、部屋の中に大量に小バエのような虫が出ていて、快適とは程遠かったです。立地や交通アクセスは良かったのですが、虫の点だけ非常に気分が優れず、神経質な人には向かないのかもなぁと思いました。

Hotel room was nice and very clean (new towels every day and trash emptied), staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The one negative (that’s kinda hard to ignore) is that the rooms are RIGHT next to the Tube, so the room shakes & is pretty noisy every 1,5 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes the entire night, it is pretty hard to sleep. But the room (almost) makes up for it by having extremely comfortable beds, great ventilation and a nice aesthetic. Location COULD NOT be better, extremely close to everything, very central so convenient!! So if you’re a fast and heavy sleeper who wants to stay in the middle of everything, this room is definitely for you! (Bathroom was hilarious though, nice shower haha) -

Everything was great, the shower design could be improved or add a door, as the rest of the bathroom gets wet..
