Chic bare bones property, nice bed good size room and bathroom, no tv or basic amenities like other hotels, and for this price you would expect something a bit more for value.

This hotel is located in a fun area of Prince Edward Island. Note, the hotel does not provide certain amenities (refrigerator, tv, workout area), notes that the rooms can be noisy due to the bar downstairs and it is not a good hotel for families (children). The hotel was convenient for our needs, bed was comfortable and shower included a rain shower option. Note the bathroom walls are opague glass which is not for everyone.

Booking did not make it clear that this hotel is basic at best. No TV's, no fridge, no water or coffee, no closet (no clothing hangers?), no irons, no fitness centre and best of all... no parking. Felt like a hostel but for the price of a hotel.

This hotel advertises as a minimalist experience, and it is. If you need only a bed for the night it works well. If you want a tv in the room, a coffee maker, or a fridge, then I think this is not for you.

The staff were excellent but my partner has claustrophobia and the tiny room had a too tiny window for his liking. We forfeited our reservation. I must say the manager was extremely helpful in aiding us to find another place to stay. Please do not take my somewhat negative star rating as a reflection on the brand. It is more that my partner could not stay in this room

Great spot to explore downtown Charlottetown!

No shower door or curtain and no tv but the rest was excellent

Before you book, understand a few things: - the hotel is "minimalist". You get a room with a bed, a bathroom, and that is it. -there is a social room on the 2nd floor that could use a serious clean. There is a coffee vending machine, a kettle, a poorly operating toaster- and nothing else. No washroom close by, no plates or utensils. - the location is good, but you will walk by several unhoused folks as you explore the neighbourhood. - Bed was good, shower was good. Wouldn't stay there again

This is a great little place if you are looking for character and service!! There are no in room amenities but there is a great lounge on the second floor. This is a culture stop for sure! Looking forward to going back. Great bed, fantastic shower! And while I didn't get to enjoy the theater or live music this time, I will be back!

Thanks to all for a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, the bed was was very comfortable, and the cat enjoyed the storage drawers under the bed. Despite recommendations we had received about bringing earplugs, we found them to be completely unnecessary. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We found only 2 negatives: there's very little space between the bed and the wall, making it a little difficult for my husband, who is not very flexible, to maneuver; and then there's the parking situation... It might help to have something written up explaining how the metered parking works, both weekdays and weekends. Also, the parking garage was very confusing. We enjoyed our stay very much, and will definitely consider you for future visits.

The room was clean and well-maintained. While it was smaller than rooms I've stayed in at other hotels, I didn't mind the size at all. There was a desk available, which was convenient for getting some work done. The shared space was also very clean and thoughtfully designed. It included two TVs, a microwave, a fridge, an air fryer, and even a cozy reading nook. I was able to enjoy reading my book there, and the other guests were respectful and quiet. The hotel is very close to everything, which makes it a convenient location. However, if you're staying on a Friday night or over the weekend, you may hear some noise from outside. The room doors can also be quite loud when they close. Overall, I really appreciated the shared common area. The space felt intentionally designed as a place to rest and unwind. I also liked the concept of not having a TV in the room, as it encouraged a more relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is very close to everything so if you’re staying Friday night or the weekend. You can hear noises outside. Also the doors are loud too.

Nice place. Comfortable room. And then a large noisy arty started on the floor above us. We were already asleep when the noise started. We complained to the front desk. It took them about an hour to stop the noise. It seems like the party people went out, but then returned at 2AM for more noise. The front deck person in the morning didn't really seem to care about our complaint. She said " sorry about that". I'm sorry too about having to give a bad review.

Very clean and nice

The hotel is right beside a VERY noisy arcade and bar. The “techno pop” bass beat was thumping all night until 2:30 in the morning. Nobody slept, even with ear plugs. If you are staying early in the week, or if you are there just to party on this busy party street, it might be a good deal. For someone who just wanted a little quiet room, it was a horrible choice.
