Home away from home! As someone that doesn't leave reviews often is well travelled ( 12 countries last year alone!) and fussy about where I lay my head for a good nights sleep I cannot recommend Rooftop enough. not only is it a beautiful space and environment its also the people that work there the owner, security the staff and bar team are all incredible no ask is too big or too small and they will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. My room was incredible, I felt like a princess waking up every morning. Getting out of bed was particularly hard as the bed was so COMFY! Alongside comfort, the room was spotless and cleaned every day to such a high standard. I HIGHLY recommend getting the breakfast to start your day right its simple delicious and you can order eggs, pancakes and waffles to be made fresh. To summarise if ( when ) I visit The Gambia again I will be staying here! <3

Stopped over during a trip to Senegal and I’m very happy I did! Property is stunning and staff is warm. Owner took time out to introduce himself and ensure my stay was going well which I appreciated.

An excellent place to stay. Tastefully decorated. Not far from Senegambia strip and restaurants and entertainment. Excellent staff and courteous and entertaining owner. Highly recommended.

RoofTop is truly a gem! Before booking I had read several reviews praising this place which lead to high expectations - and I was not disappointed. From the stunning rooms to the tentative and professional staff, this is a must-stay when in Gambia. Or might I say it's worth booking a trip just to see this small and exclusive paradise. The owner Urban makes you feel like you have come home, a very serene feeling that many of us need!
