Convenient, walkable location. Small, simple room. Not much privacy from adjacent rooms.

Comfortable quirky boutique hotel.tricky to navigate to public underground parkin although nearby.

Gute Lage im Zentrum. Sehr freundliches Personal. Leider keine Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel und auch das Anhalten zum ein- und ausladen gestaltet sich schwierig. Etwas ringhörig.

We loved our stay. The hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the whole of the town. It was peaceful and relaxing after a busy day sight seeing and the recepttion team are very friendly and helpful. We booked the deluxe room with balcony. The balcony is small but you get a view of the sea at the end of the street. Despite being on a street, when the windows are shut there is very little noise and we slept well. The shower is walk in and the housekeeping is excellent. There was plenty of storage and the toiletries are good quality and generous. The mini bar free water was really appreciated. There is a Lidl across the road for anything else. Thank you for making our holiday so perfect.

Location and cleanliness.

The location could not be better, and whilst simple service, it is absolutely ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are absolutely fine and clean, and hotel in good condition (despite wavey stairs which add character) and the checkin process is easy. The thing that spoiled out stay is that the walls are quite thin, on three of the nights we slept perfectly and all was great, but on the final night a new group had moved into the room next door and they got home at 1am and proceeded to make noise for a good few hours. Woke us up countless times, despite being deep sleepers, and left us with a frustrated feeling at the end of an amazing trip.

Great place

Casa Nicolasa is a beautiful building with updated, comfortable, stylish rooms. It’s in a great spot and made San Sebastián a wonderful experience for us.

Easy going and relaxed place.

The property is conveniently located. The staff was very helpful (and spoke very good English, which is rare in this area).

Worked very well for a central, way too short visit to San Sebastian. Nice hostal, considerate staff, good to have coffee and tea in the morning.

Excelnte ubicación y limpieza. Un hospedaje costo-efectivo sin lugar a dudas. El personal muy servicial. Me volvería a alojar aquí. Estamcia muy amigable para familias con bebé. La habitación con terraza que reservamos estaba en muy buenas condiciones y la terraza le da un valor agregado.

Casa Nicolasa was clean and very accessible and convenient to old town, beach and board walk. Room is really small, and if you get the room with windows in the back it can be very noisy. The room was really stuffy because the whole facility has only one heating/air control. When we were here from 3/21-24 it rained all the whole time and rooms facing street can be cold. So the heater was on. But my room with barely no window in a stuffy room was hot. When you open the window for air at night, all you hear is flushing toilet and noise from people in the surrounding area all night long. The facility is like a dorm. With a small front desk in the hall way with a convenient coffee and tea maker. But you can hear people all night long coming out to grab tea etc and talking. Out of the 3 different young staff in the 3 days I stayed. Only one was reasonable equipped to help answer some questions. The young man was a dud, knows nothing and said I don’t know a lot. For a $158/night the location was great but nothing else. So if you want to experience dorm life, this would be the place for you. Small, noisy and no one knows what is gong on.

This place was great! Very clean! We arrived after hours and very clear instructions were given to what we needed to do to get in! We texted them during our last day and asked if we could stay another night and it was no problem! They made it all very easy! Walking distance to everything! Central location!
