Good Clean Basic Accommodation

Good clean rooms to stay in for work.

Convenient for me, close to my daughter. Walkable in a nice area.

Parking limited on uneven ground. Facilities poor & outdated. No bathroom sink space. Very noisy with traffic & other guests.

On the morning before our check-in the motel manager called and asked what time we would arrive. I said I was unsure but expected about 5pm. As check-in was from 2pm and we got there at 3.30pm we tried to check-in then but the manager told us he had rented our room short time until 4.30pm so we had to come back after 4.30pm and he took $10 off the cost of the room. We were unhappy but had no choice and came back and checked in at 4.45pm. The motel is old and run-down but the room was clean albeit with a strange smell. We did not have a good night's sleep as the motel is on the corner of Ipswich Road and Durack street and many vehicles and motorbikes turning into Durack street rev hard to get up the hill and the sound of roaring engines woke us up many times. We would never stay there again.

Tv didn’t have aerial. No bed lamps. 3 of 4 Power points at bed didn't work. One did with jiggling. Main light ugly led. Yuk. Wifi worked. Bed comfortable. Noisy location but its only traffic. Typical cheap rate motel. You get what you pay for and I'm relatively poor so i have to accept that. I bet every other hotel at this rate has its own problems. It must be hard to make money running these places.

From the outside the motel is dispiriting. Inside the room is well finished, clean and fresh. Great shower. We chose this motel for its proximity to the tennis centre and enjoyed the Adonis cafe on the way.

Clean and tidy room. Convenient location and easy to park. Happy, cheerful staff.

Just one thing the TV Antennas was playing up of ABC channel. The room is while nice & clean, sheet nice white. The other side the staircase need a handrails.

It was dirty and smelled like sewerage it was disgusting. We had gone to a party that night and when we got back to the room the smell of sewerage and tobacco was overwhelming so we packed our bag and drove 2 hours to get home. I would never recommend the hotel really disgusting.

The room was clean and spacious. The towels thin but adequate. I didn't like some minor things like: a hole in the wall or broken power point in the bathroom, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, the wall light was missing a cover. The noise from the main road was not as bad as I thought would be. Not bad place to stay for the price , if you are not too fussy.

Our stay was good room was serviced every day being on a main road so was noisy but we expected that 400 hundred metres up the side street at Moorooka shopping strip was Woolworths and plenty of shops good that there was underground parking and access from the street without having to use the stairs

Close to main road therefore a bit noisy. Had to ask for extra coffee and sugar. The man on reception a little surly.

Great place for one night and for the value for money. The only concern was the fridge was leaking water which cause the tiles to become a bit slippery. All in all - great staff and good for the one night I needed.

The property was old and not what we were expecting. It was clean but It looked better on the website. Air con wasn’t working and it was far too hot to stay the night. We left after 1.5 hr. Tv didn’t have the capacity to stream Netflix or stan or prime. You couldn’t even link your phone up the Tv. Property was noisy as you could hear the cleaner sweeper. I had also booked and you were suppose to pay at property the property had already taken the charge before I had arrive. So we had no choice but to go through with the booking. I would not recommend this hotel if you are wanting air con and quiet place to sleep and the ability to watch streaming services from your phone.

Room 7 - Pros: Comfy bed, staff friendly, shower has good water pressure and couch was comfortable. Cons: Dodgy tv reception from rabbit ear antenna, cold water tap fell off, PowerPoint in bathroom didn't work, residents hang their laundry all over the shared balcony rail to dry including underwear etc, gardens unkept, weed ridden and ugly. Steep for $140 a night but comfortable enough.
