Great and central to everything. Well done staff!

Rooms were very basic, but quite acceptable, nothing special. Close to the Strand and eateries. Very limited off street parking

Yongala Lodge was pleasant stay for me It was clean and comfortable and quiet The staff were helpful and respectful The only fault I had was I would have liked a microwave oven The price was reasonable I would recommend it to my friends

Our online booking was overlooked. After a 4 hour drive, we were very disappointed to be downgraded on arrival from an executive family room to a standard room. The lodge manager gave us excuses and blame instead of taking accountability for their mistake! We were charged for the executive room price on arrival. The Air Con unit was disgusting! Filters hadn't been cleaned for at least 12 months! The inside of the AC unit was completely blackened and mouldy. It obviously hadn't been serviced for over 12 months, so despite the hot weather, we didn't use it at all due to health risk. The walls in our room were filthy! We lodged a complaint the next morning and were given another standard family room with a clean Air Con unit but offered no discount! The property and rooms are very dated and basic. No stove or oven in the room, portable electric element for cooking. Located very close to The Strand Waterfront, and Supermarket. This was our first time visiting Townsville! We don't recommend staying here and we definitely won't be staying again!

The owners and staff were outstanding. The room was perfect for our needs. And it was pet friendly.

Location is the key reason to stay at this property. It had all necessities and functional.

nice motel. very big room with older furniture but all working fine. comfy bed and good AC. plates and glasses , microwave toaster and we could do a little cooking inside. good fridge. near the ferry and supermarket - walking distance. simple, no frills but good stay.

Great value for money. Nice pool. Dogs loved it.

Virtually on The Strand, just past the amazing Bayan trees. Spacious room, good shower, with extra touches : crockery and cutlery, and a microwave oven. Our room was up some steep stairs, but there are other, less precipitous rooms too.

Very pet friendly, rated by the dogs. Good sized rooms for family. Clean. Easy to locate.

A great heritage hotel. Very close to the ferry terminal and an easy walk to the esplanade (lots of cafes/restaurants). Reception was friendly and helpful! Would stay again!

I had gone away with my family and enjoyed it. I'm just not too sure if someone other than myself had entered the room while I had gone out for the day. Other than that staff were very hospitable and friendly and were extremely happy to help when needed so I thank them and I'll love to return back. Also pet friendly my dog was extremely happy during her stay also.
