We liked the location of this property. Easy access to Old Quebec and a nice and lively neighbourhood. The rooms are so clean and the beds comfortable. Not crazy about the washroom outside the room though. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent place - very private and comfortable experience. I don’t think we could have found a nicer neighbourhood for our stay, a short walk from the sights but lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We liked the restaurant downstairs too.

Excellent location and staff. Room and bathroom were modern and clean. Could have used better lighting and a little coffee maker for the first morning coffee. Also would have liked a functioning tv. Otherwise we enjoyed the location which is walking distance to many interesting sights.

Petit Hôtel Café Krieghoff welcomes you with a small lobby area on the second floor of this old house on Cartier Ave, a local street filled with shops and pubs about a bit over 1 km (.8 mile), as the crow flies, from the walls of the Old City. The hotel is located approximately 400m (.2 miles) from the Plains of Abraham. The lobby has a small microwave and frig. The hotel consists of rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor of this building. There is a 'steep' and narrow metal stairs to the 2nd floor. The room I occupied had a window to the rear of the building, thus sheltering me from any noise from Cartier Ave. The main floor is occupied by the cafe, which is a popular hangout for local seniors in the morning. The cafe is busy place during the afternoons and evenings on a warm sunny day. Access to the hotel and your room is made possible by a code provided a day before your arrival. The code gains you access into the hotel lobby and to your assigned room. The only staff member that I interacted with was with a cleaner (on one afternoon of my stay). IMO, this is the ideal hotel for a low-maintenance traveler who wants to avoid the tourist area yet still be close to those areas. The businesses on this street are frequently mainly by locals and, thus, is an excellent refuge from the tourist areas. A small grocery store is located adjacent to this property. P.S. If you have a car, parking on side streets are limited during the day (mainly 60 and 90 time limits).

Très bon séjour, logement très bien placé et agréable.

Une chambre parfaite et bien située. Propre, sécuritaire et sans produits parfumés (donc, le paradis si vous souffrez d’allergies). Les communications sont impeccables.

Super bien. Entrée autonome avec un code, sans problème. Petit salon accueillant à l'extérieur de la chambre où on trouve micro-ondes, ustensiles et autres accessoires de cuisine. Lit confortable, salle de bain avec grande douche. Bien situé sur une rue vivante avec pleins de petits commerces variés et avec accès facile à la Grande-Allée, aux Plaines, au Vieux Québec, etc. Transport en commun à quelques minutes de marche. Le Café Krieghoff est un endroit sympathique, chaleureux où il est très agréable de prendre le petit-déjeuner et un café avant de commencer la journée. Délicieux .Je recommande.

Nice small hotel, the only thing I found a little bit uncomfortable was the room upstairs didnt have the bathroom inside the room, it's separate, but each bedroom has their on bathroom, food and coffee at the restaurant is amazing!

Bel emplacement dans un beau décor de style ancien! Lits très confortables. Pas de frigo dans la chambre, quoiqu’il y en avait un petit accessible à tous dans le corridor, mais surtout pas de machine à café! On m’a dirigé en bas au Café où j’ai payé 10$, pour un excellent allongé! Mais bon… Ça pourrait être inclus dans le prix!
