Rating & Review Keseluruhan Monashee Motel

I booked the hotel by accident (not realizing I had past it 45 minutes earlier), call immediately to inform them that I was too far and now stuck behind a rather large accident and if they could cancel the booking. Booking made at 11:55 PM. The person that answered the phone said it would have to be dealt with in the morning. I asked Hotels.com to intervene and again the hotel rejected the cancellation. It is quite sad to see a lack of understanding. I guess I now understand why the rating for this hotel is the lowest I. The town.

Friendly, gracious, accommodating... those are the first three words that come to mind when I think about the staff at the Monashee Motel. The room was spotless, and the retro-charm is nostalgic. I feel it's important to support family-owned motels... I will be back!

Would help if heat was turned on a little earlier before we arrived. Parking lot had a lot of uncleared snow. Room is good value for price.

A good location to stay for a nite when driving through Staff was nice and the unit was updated with a huge television screen We had trouble with the heat staying on Gentleman turned the breaker on when it failed prior to sleep but then it went off at 3am which we woke up shivering and restarted the thermostat For this instability of heat in mid winter we don’t believe we would take a chance again

Friendly service. No soap/bathing towels in washroom

The room was not clean including flooring, bed sheets and toilet. There were no enough blankets and bath soap. Over all not not so good experience.

Our room was great . Clean new . Very comfortable . We slept well . What we didn't like were the ski dooers letting their trucks run for 20-30 min for no apparent reason . Noisy , completely unnesessary . The owner super friendly guy . Thx .

Owners are nice and not a bad sport for a quick stop when traveling, but i wouldn't select for a vacation stay. Not likely to reach front desk by room phone i don't think they monitor it. Towel rack was ready to fall off the wall. Clean, convenient, allows pets, and good value, but its no Four Seasons

It was good value, clean, and most importantly allows pets. Perfect stop on my way to Calgary. Only two small things. Heat didn't work, which was just a breaker, but getting ahold of someone at front desk took 7 attempts. I wouldn't choose this hotel as a vacation spot, but as a quick stopover its great.

Was good. Well worth the price

We were stranded in highway1 between Sicamous and Revelstoke on our way home. We decided to stay in Sicamous because it was getting late. I booked through hotels.com and found this little gem. I met the kindest person at the desk and upgraded our room. The bed was top notch! Memory foam/adjustable bed frame. Pillows were memory foam too and as soon as my head hit the pillow that was it. Lights out! The room was renovated with the usual perks (microwave, fridge, coffee maker/nespresso and big TV). Didn’t use the internet but it was available. My daughter and I woke up well rested but reluctantly got out of bed to start our drive home. Thank you much to the staff!

Did not like this property in anyway. Room not clean, bathroom with mold in the corners and in the shower, bed saggy and linens were gross.

About what I expected especially having a dog. Reasonably clean room.Comfortable beds but some plumbing problems. Toilet leaked everytime I flushed and kitchenette sink wouldn't shut off. Overall you get what you pay for.

The staff are amazing. The cleaning of the room was not great. Also had noisy ppl upstairs and they kept us up all night. I really hope they refund me for a night.theu offered an extra night but I don't think we will be coming back
