Lovely friendly staff, well appointed rooms, accessible, across from the beach, dog friendly - all you can ask for!

Staff were very friendly. The property is very dated and worn motel style, and needs an update. Being right across the street from the beach was great, and able to walk along beach to restaurant and lovely gardens. Would otherwise not have stayed here.

Easy access to beach, pool was nice rooms were good and beds were comfy

We've stayed here a few times over the years and I definitely noticed the improvements among the property and staff! The pool was actually open which was wonderful! The rooms and exterior seemed updated since our last stay and the staff were always very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back! See you next year :)

Clean older, good location, safe and reasonable price

The beds were comfortable. The AC and the fridge worked fine, as did everything else we tried. The building is quite old, as are many on Lakeshore Drive. Don't expect daily maid service, unless requested, but that seems to be the norm these days. We are good with that, actually. If you need something or the room requires a fix, its easy to just ask at the desk and most hotels will get on it in short order. Our biggest "complaint" was that the room was a little too small. There was only a small table with wooden chairs for seating. To be fair, I hardly would call that a fault of management, since I am sure the hotel has larger rooms available if you are willing to pay extra for one.

We stayed 3 nights and I was fine that there was no maid service, but the rooms were well used. The carpet, tile and holes from previous TV should be repaired. The outlet in the bathroom works sometimes and there was outlet strip in place of useable outlets. It was difficult to make coffee, tea and plug in a curling iron. However, the location was good and the price was right. It was fine for our stay

Was great having access to the community BBQ along with the kitchen in the room made more great dining in options. Close to beach, nice for walking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

The Front desk ladies was very helpful and polite. The night maintenance guy was very polite and accommodating even though we arrived beyond office hours.

It was kinda rustic everything worked staff was nice I pretty much got what I paid for it was clean.

An affordable motel, one of five or six similar ones along the beachfront. Adequate cooking facilities, fridge, microwave, etc. but a small table and chair would have been welcome. Very clean, fine bedroom, ok parking.

I liked the bed, location, parking. BUT there was no light housekeeping - the bed was never made up, nor towels replaced. There is no cable tv, not even bottled water. The telephone was so dirty, you didn't want to put it close to the mouth. I had to call the office as the hairdryer quit. I don't know when they came to leave a portable one, as I had to leave for a tournament with wet hair. They saw the used towels on the floor and unmade bed, but it was left for all the (3) days I was there. And no discount, same price as if I booked 3 separate days. They would have to strip the bed etc.....

Location is amazing. Steps from the beach, my 10 year old daughter said it was the best place ever. She loved the pool, our room and that it was across the street from a great beach and very short walk to get ice cream :) 🍦🍨 The AC worked great, beds were clean, kitchen had a big fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishes.

Everything was as expected, no surprises.

Good mattress outdated furniture old carpets and cold pool

The bathroom in room 36 smells like 2nd hand smoke. The room is definitely not the cleanest. However, the bed was comfortable and even though the pillows were lumpy - somehow they were ok. Can't beat location to the lake. If it weren't for the bathroom smoke smell it would've been decent enough.

Clean, close to everything, very friendly staff

It's an older motel but clean. Friendly staff. Nice quality towels. Comfortable bed. We had no complaints.
