Ficamos no quarto número 11, não tinha água que te disponível para banho, trataram o problema como irrelevante e enquanto estivemos no quarto este tema não foi resolvido. A atendente Liz da recepção não teve empatia com a situação, pois na primeira noite esperamos que viesse água quente para o banho e perdemos o jantar, pois não informaram que ficavam abertos até às 21:00, isso inclui todos ou a maioria dos restaurantes da ilha. Ela (Liz) debochou da situação e disse que se não tivéssemos esperado a solução teríamos jantado. Também ficou sorrindo da situação. Isso só demonstra o despreparo e falta de treinamento empregado nesta funcionária.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Mar y Oro! Abel and the hotel manager and the restaurant staff go above and beyond to ensure a fabulous stay! We will dream about our time on the island until we can return again! Island shuts down early - this was a learning curve but be sure you have dinner by 7!

Mar Y Oro exceeded our expectations. The location was exceptional -the beach was pristine-with good snorkeling right there.at low tide it was best. The beach is huge, your stay includes beach lounge chairs and and umbrellas. The room (queen room with patio view) was bigger than expected with a smart TV. The walls in the bathroom (and some outside walls) were covered with shells-(plastic I assume) which very unique. A few were missing here and there, but no big deal. The breakfast was delicious and the dinners here and the so were the dinners-especially the seafood pasta which had as much seafood as it did pasta. The staff were helpful and helped us arrange a boat ride. A pick up and drop off to and from the ferry is included also. iWe would definitely stay there again should we return and highly recommend Mar Y Oro!

Food was great . Limited but very good . Service was terrific . The staff is friendly and full of smiles! Don’t go to the beach on weekends! The 4x4 trucks constantly driving by , making a day at the beach quite unpleasant. The hotel itself is in desperate need of a facelift! Rooms need to be painted, holes in the wall patched , and a good scrub to the black mold on the beams in the bathroom. The whole place really needs to be updated ! Overall, we enjoyed our stay even if overpriced.

The staff were awesome. I was amazed by the seemingly long days worked by the manager who remained so warm and courteous. The food was good with many drink options. An old building that was tasteful and located right next to a serene beach of powder sand and clear blue waters. Many beach chairs and umbrellas to lounge under. A nice tall ceiling in the suite with cool air conditioning and a fan. The staff seamlessly book golf carts for guests which was a fun way to cruise around the island. The surrounding area feels safe and welcoming, everyone was so kind to my friend and I. Isla Contadora is a gem and I'm happy with my choice to stay at Mar Y Oro.

O mais gostei foi a localização ser com vista para o mar, mas o custo benefício é alto, e o café da manhã é fraco.

The staff is very helpful in every way. They pick you up at the airstrip and will also drive you there after checkout.

Excellent service, attentive staff, very clear English communication, very organized. The food at the restaurant was excellent - fresh, organic and tasted great. We had 5 or 6 meals there and everything was great! Highly recommend! Given how remote and small the island is (population less than 200), it’s remarkable that this facility offers such high quality. Air conditioning is top notch and our room was very comfortable.

We had a lovely time at Mar Y oro. The beaches, staff and food were all excellent we will definitely be back. PS rent a golf cart to explore the island

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly at this clean hotel. Food at the restaurant is solid, especially given the limited good options on the island. The hotel is a bit dated, mostly outside of the rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel as the beach is great, close to the airport/port and store (not that the island is big to begin with).

Cadre splendide au pied d’une des plus belles plages de l’île. Restaurant de l’hôtel savoureux. Attention cependant aux horaires très limités le soir; difficile de dîner après 19h45 car le personnel veut « terminer tôt « … Hôtel qui mériterait une rénovation complète. Les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués: trou dans le mur de la chambre; sol abîmé; très forte humidité (sol mouillé le jour de notre arrivée) Le personnel de direction n’a pas le sens du service: nous avons été facturé 7dollards pour un plat du petit déjeuner commandé en décalé de quelques minutes : très maladroit pour une facture de 1200 dollars sur 3 nuits
