Chill. Stunning location and great staff. Food great value. We had a fantastic time. Stayed 5 nights. Would stay again.

The rooms were clean. The food was not good. The same breakfast everyday no variety. We really wanted to like this hotel but was it was lacking. Bar doesn’t open til 2. Not a lot to do in the area.

Amazing stay at a laid back, friendly hotel over the water.

The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and there was lots of hot water. Breakfast was good and it was easy to get a water taxi. The ecological reserve in back was nice. We fed the turtles.

We absolutely loved staying here. The overwater bungalows were so enjoyable to experience. The staff was very attentive and are fluent in English. Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed.

Sejour tres reposant en dépaysement total. Les lodges sur pilotis au top. Faire les excursions proposés un plus. Nous y reviendrons avec joie.

Fueron unas vacaciones inolvidables. Lo que mas quiero destacar es el excelente servicio del personal. Siempre siempre con una sonrisa. Rash en recepción es encantadora y lista para ayudarte. Las chicas del restaurante Tamara y Emi con el rico desayuno y en la noche, Mini con las deliciosas cenas, con la ayuda de Star. Alfredo siempre listo para llevarme el traguito en la terraza. Vaya manera de consentirnos. Fuimos en familia (5) y optamos por el Loft. La mejor opcion. Amplisimo. Lástima que nos llovió un par de dias pero pudimos realizar las actividades que hay en el area. No se pierdan Cayo Zapatilla, los delfines, Boca Drago. En playa las Estrellas no se ubiquen frente a los restaurantes. Es una verdadera pena que no han cuidado de las estrellas. Recomiendamos Eclypse altamente. Esperamos regresar.

Found bed bugs and have bed bug bites very disturbing

Super tolle Erfahrung im Wasserbungalow zu schlafen. Es ist aber laut, da es keine Fenster hat, nur Läden. Hängematte steht zur Verfügung, direkter Zugang ins Meer. Frühstück war lecker (muss man vorbestellen).

Great location. Great knowledgeable and friendly staff

Liked the jungle all around. Staff was not overly friendly but not horrible. Cabin we stayed at had screened areas all around wall ceiling areas so you can hear every noise from other cabins/rooms, no privacy if someone is staying there.

The property is noisy and the area around for swimming in the ocean is dirty. It would have been nice to have other options for dining- either change the menu every couple days or make going to other restaurants easier. to eat on the big island and it costing $20 more each way is not always the best option.

Being over the water bungalow is pretty.

Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. We booked a day tour of the area with the hotel in the third day, however it was just the three of us so they transfered us to another company they worked with. Despite the reviews about the sound/music from Bank Town, it wasn't a problem and we never used the provided ear plugs. Overall, we had a very relaxing and lovely time at Eclipse del Mar!

This property is a gem! We stayed a week in December and had an all around lovely stay. The bungalows were clean and so relaxing. Everyone on the staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate the guests. We went out several times on excursions with Alejandro and had A experiences. Don't bother booking water excursions in town. You can just book thru the resort. In December it was still raining most days, which made the water at the resort murky. However, Alejandro took us to clear locations for amazing snorkeling! We will definitely return.

This property is magical. It's exactly as pictured. If you want to get away from it all this is your place. The staff couldn't be more gracious. One thing to note: No real beach here. you can swim in the water but no sand. luckily a water taxi makes a beach a ride away. Make sure to bring snacks and/or cash as there is no where nearby to get either. Five stars otherwise
