The staff are very helpful. We stayed in the new building at this property and found the room to be clean and sufficient. Beds were only twin-size, so a bit small for adults. The location was terrific, an easy walk into town, close to restaurants and sites. We went at the end of November and found it was also easy to walk to the Christmas market. It was quiet and safe.

I am so glad I got the last available room. It was perfect! Everyone was wonderful! Paola was very very kind and helpful upon my arrival to the restaurant. Excellent, genuine service. I brought my cat. So easy. Excellent location.

Gem of a hotel , excellent location, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, large rain shower head, bountiful hot water, spacious room. Con: lighting a lil dim in room, but not a big deal.

Relativ neues Hotel (Anbau) - tolle Bar und sehr gutes Frühstück!

Værelset jeg fik, var i den gamle del af hotellet, badeværelset er fint moderniseret, resten af værelset ikke moderne, håber det er bedre i den nye del af hotellet. (ved at stil er individuelt). Service er fin, morgenmad er okay, savnede dog yoghurt. Parkering ligger et par hundrede meter væk.

I can’t say enough about this hotel- amazing cuisine at the restaurant, sauna, gorgeous rooms right in the heart of old town Torun. A truly unique property- and they went above and beyond- stored my luggage for over four hours as I waited for my train. Amazing restaurant staff found a way to charge my phone so I would have enough power for my journey to my next destination. Visit this hotel. It is truly a gem.

perfect weekend

I liked its proximity to Old Town and the Vistula. Beds were a little hard but otherwise the accommodations were good.

Hotel 1231 is located in the old, historic part of Torún. Even though it is only some 100mm from the main walking street it is very calm area. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful and the service was perfect. The rooms were top notch. There is a very nice bar in the newly renovated part och the hotel. I noted that a wiskey in the bar there were cheaper than a can of Coca Cola at the gas station so hats of also for this. I will choose no other hotel nextt time I visit Torún.

Excellent hotel. Would definitely stay again.
